vyvvy (1582), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Apr 19, 2008 Nice to have another good pils in the STL area. Pours crystal clear with a soapy head and dancing carbonation. The aroma has clean pils malt, light sweetness, some citric notes and light mint - very clean and crisp. The body is light and slightly biting with light carbonation for a pilsner. The flavor starts with lots of pepperiness, clean pils malt and spicy hops. The finish is enjoyably biting. The is a very nice beer, but not sure if it is worth the price tag compared to other pils available of equal quality in the area.
laguerita (54), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 19, 2008 pretty tasty...some bready notes to it with a well balanced bitterness. flavorful and clean. thehurt01 (128), Denver, Colorado, USA Jul 17, 2008 A 12oz bottle, I was not looking for a made on date. I drank this beer out of the bottle so I can’t speak on the apperance or smell. The taste is crisp and dry with a mild hops and slight blueberry after taste. Excellent carbonation. Nice grassy and cereal aroma with a bit of hops, lemon and some bready malts. Crystal clear bright gold. Light crisp and dry flavor with a decent bitterness. More lemon and some straw. Finishes dry and pasty with a bit of lingering herbal hops. A decent pilsner.
