Bottle. Gold color with a big foamy head. Hop and barley aroma that is also sort of earthy and musty. Light palate. Flavor starts out like a lager with a kick at the end.

12 fl oz bottle from Potsdam, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear straw-yellow with a nice, bright white head. Aroma: Excellent Saaz hop aromas – green, grassy, peppery, somewhat dank; just enough boiled cereal for support with a hint of sulphur. Palate: Medium body, fairly full carbonation, Pils smoothness. Flav.: More malt than the nose, a bit less hops as well, still pretty good style-wise (IMO); dry with decent bitterness and a lightly malty, grassy/peppery finish.

Hits the style on the head. And hits me in the liver.

Pour a clear golden yellow with a thin fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet malts, hay, cereal, slightly fruity and floral as well. It smells pretty refreshing. Flavor is good, classic pilsner. Sweet malty goodness, notes of biscuit, caramel, slight spice to it. The only downside is it leaves a slightly off after taste on the palate. Kind of metallic which is disappointing because it’s a blemish to an otherwise tasty brew. Good example of a pilsner, not the best, but good nonetheless. I’d drink again but wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Beer poors pale straw, brilliant with nice white head that persists. Noble hop aroma, with a maltiness that shows as it warms. Med, light sweetness with a firm bitterness. Carbonation and hops dry the palate. Overall a solid German pils. Nice

Somewhat itneretsing. Not the best beer from this brewery. A light beer compared with the specialities. Nice to drink too.

Pours a clear straw yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grain, straw malts. Taste is a clean, light malt with light noble hop bitterness. Spot on German pilsner.

This is not quite an authentic take on a German pils as it claims but it’s a good beer whatever it is. It’s very pale straw yellow in color, perfectly clear w/ a small ring of a fine-bubbled head. The nose is herbal and slightly bready. The hops in this give it a sort of lemony citrus taste--which is why I said earlier that it didn’t quite fit the bill as a Germ an pils--and it’s quite crisp and easily drinkable. I am always excited to see a relatively large craft brewers take on light lager styles as they typically have the means to brew a lager and have it turn out right and this does not disappoint.

12 ounce bottle. Extremely pale, straw colored liquid topped by a medium-sized foamy white head. Fragrant grainy malt aroma. Upfront, flavor is light toasted malt with some hop bitterness. Mid taste has spicy hops. Finish is more spice and notes of vanilla and citrus hops. Crisp, refreshing and flavorful with nice balance.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow with a medium white head. Looks like Mt. Dew. Good carbonation spiraling up to the top of the glass. Aroma is yeasty. Kind of smelled like Miller Lite at first. Taste is full on carbonation and finishes decent. It’s light on the mouth with notes of malt and corn. Almost like Miller Lite on steroids. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Aromas of grain, bread, and a touch of citrus. Sulfur, grain, and a balanced finish. Nice and drinkable
