A brilliant, refreshing lager; hand crafted using traditional method & ingredients. A zesty, German style pilsner with a dry, crisp finish.

Better than a typical Pilsner pour, with a page golden body, lively carbonation streamers full of tiny bubbles, and a two finger thick, craggy head. The smell was flowery, grassy, and had a hint of cooked corn in it. The taste was a mixture of simple sweetness with a lemony and spicy hop presence. Easy to drink, due to a light, aired out body, and clean lemon drop like finish. I just wanted a lighter diversion this week from the usual ales I drink, and this was just what I expected. Nothing spectacular, but who buys a Pils expecting that?

Bottle. Pours clear golden yellow, fluffy white head with flam licks of lace. Pilsner is never my favourite style to smell, grainy. Crisp, non-offensive taste. A touch bitter.

Got the pilsner cone out for this one: aroma: definitively flowered. look: thin yellow lightly gold. palate: up front initially then diminishing. overall: all over it. nifty, tightly brewed.

12 oz bottle from Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. Just pretty average with no outstanding features. Disappointing overall.

Poured a light yellow color with a thin head. Aroma is sweet with a little bit of corn. Slightly skunky as well. Taste has corn with a good amount of hops. Slightly sweet and syrupy in the finish. Lots of hay and earthy notes. Overall it’s ok, but a little too sweet.

Growler from the beer authority.

Light pour, white head, typical pilsner look. Grassy nose, some grain, a bit sour, a bit of cat piss. The flavor is quite bready with hops that balance rather than coming on too strong as they are wont to do in American pilsners. It’s not quite as bone dry as I’d like, but that’s a minor complaint. Nice light mouthfeel. I rather like this one, which is a pleasant surprise. It’s pretty spot-on for a pilsner so I’m not sure why it fares so poorly here.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear, pale gold. White, lasting head. Sweet, lager malt graininess. Grassy, and some lemon. Creamy palate. Nice pilsener, with a grassy, hoppy bitterness, right at the end.

On tap, poured a clear pale yellow hue w/ moderate foamy white long-lasting head and thick sticky lacing. Big bready aroma. Initial flavor is mild sweet w/ a light to moderate bitter finish. Tastes are straw, fresh bread, and light grass. Light bodied, avg carbonation and balanced mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines, cheers Ash. Aromas of zesty lemon, fresh green vegetables. Taste is more green, spice, lemon. Medium body, crisp finish. Nice.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - pale lemon with a thin head which disappears fairly quickly. Nose - big green vegetables, maybe some seaweed or samphire is probably closer. Taste - green vegetables again which I didn’t expect. A very green spicy finish, almost like a green pepper. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - really odd with the green vegetables being bigger than expected.
