On tap at Rackhouse. Pours with a hazed bronze body with a small, off-white head. Aromas are bready, light citrus, lots of caramel, floral and spicy. Flavors are of caramel, cereal, melanodins. A very, very clean malty flavor. Medium bubbles. Nice.

Terminus (2892) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - OCT 24, 2011
tap-pours clear copper hue with no head, nose is spicy, phenolic with notes of malt grains, ginger and bitter husky notes. not really waht i was expecting but it is what it is. flavors of estrngent spices throughout-really detracts from the overall enjoyment of this beer. needs some ballance. seems more like a spiced ale than a biere de garde.

onceblind (2535) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 6, 2011
On tap during the Milk Stout Nitro Release Party, 2011 GABF. Slightly hazy brilliant orange copper, with a great medium head that settled into a lasting white cap. Big malty nose of amber malts, soft light fruitiness, and bready yeast. Flavor is rich and earthy toffee malt, bread dough, and soft light fruit. Cleverly smooth and quaffable. Just not nuanced or complex.

Wow, only the second rating. This is for the ProAm BdG, guessing this is the listing. Shaker our at the Bird Dog bar in Lawrence, KS. Served super cold, score!. Dark amber - brown color, small head dissipates quickly. Aroma is all untamed yeasiness, sweet esters, a little musky. Flavor is too sweet along with uncontrolled yeastiness, strong on fruitiness. Too sweet too untamed, sure its a BdG yeast but its barely recognizable as a BdG. Tastes just like unfermented sugar and yeast esters. Has potential, needs work.
