Similar flavour, light hop, mild bitterness. Just a touch of a cardboard note along side a caramel malt character indicating it might be a touch past its prime - but I also assumed this was an American Pale, I see now that it is not. Average palate. Bottle from Mabel’s Florida trip. rmussman (905), California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Bottle. Murky brown and almost red with a big bubbled, short lived head. Aroma is toast and stale hops. Flavor is really malty (past it’s prime?), Metalic, honey and a bit bready. Just a bit sweet. NobleSquirrel (1105), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Bottle at Kuma’s. Pretty similar to Censored. A bit bready and cardboardy, though not really in a bad way. Some crystal malt character with some hops. Mouthfeel is reasonable. Overall, it wasn’t anything extravagant or outstanding. Was pretty decent, however. Acknud (772), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Even though it is not to style I like the hoppiness in this beer. Pours amber with a medium head. Malty aroma. Taste is initially malty but then the hops come through. gws57 (1137), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA

Deep reddish-brown pour with a frothy tan head, nutty nose, balanced flavor. This is a highly quaffable brew. ThunderChicken (10), Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Slightly more hoppy than I would expect from the style, althou8gh the serving temperature was colder than it should be. Malt sweetness is nice.. twitcher (293), framingham, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2008 (from notes) ESB from Lefthand. Medium amber color, think off white head. Smooth toasted malts, crisp floral hop notes. A tad hoppier than usual for an ESB, but nothing IPA-ish. Quality session brew.
