iswain1914 (19), USA Oct 15, 2007 Decent american beer from a decent american microbrewery. Certainly better than most microbrews....a decent ESB. The mil stout, however, rocked. BREWMUSKCLES (1062), New Jersey, USA Oct 13, 2007 interesting hop character. citrus with some latin fruit. touch of straw in the light malt backing. receded hop character that fades while the brew is in mouth and finishes with the malt so cleanly. like a multicolored jawbreaker. what is it about colorado and beer?! pforei (338), USA Oct 13, 2007 Amber color with great big frothy head that rises over the glass without spilling over. Hop aroma of grapefruit, ear wax, and shampoo, with malty bread and caramel undertones. Earhty english style ESB taste. TheBeerMaster (100), Little Falls, New Jersey, USA Oct 12, 2007 An excellent aroma and a really, really pleasing fruit taste to boot. Just an excellent beer. The boys at Left Hand have shown once again that they’re some of the best in the business in the USA. TheBeerGod909 (43), Aurora, Illinois, USA Oct 12, 2007 Fruity, nut aroma, and the taste is no departure. Deep, heavy-bodied with a wide aftertaste. Quite enjoyable. RSRIZZO (1332), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 10, 2007 Had this beer on 5/7/1999. Color is a deep rich brownish gold with very light carbonation and light head. Unlike there Pale it’s crystal clear with no sediment at all. Aroma is malty with a light hint of hops. Taste is sharp and clean. Starting with a light body it goes down crisp with a very light malt flavor. The finish is a sharp malt taste followed by a medium hop bitterness. It’s a refreshing brew with a good clean finish. A great beer any time you feel like a refreshing bitter brew. Theis (3617), Denmark Oct 10, 2007 Updated: Aug 28, 2009Bottle at Oliver Twist. Clear red/brown - white head. Medium malty, berries, red berries, light fruity, grassy, light sweetness. light light chokolate. OK. JonnyC22 (162), Huntsville, Alabama, USA Oct 9, 2007 This is a great late night finishing beer. As its description says, as it warms, more flavor comes out. Leave it out of the fridge for 30 minutes or so and a distinct chocolate flavor comes out.
