Nice hop aroma with soft tones of flowers up front but also notes of apricot, tea and mild grapefruit. The malt tones are also quite soft with hints of caramel and maybe some roasted notes. Undertones of wood, unripe pineapple and other more subtle fruits. Soft hoppy flavour with tones of flowers and mild grapefruit. Toffee like malt in the background. Soft mouthfeel, maybe just a tiny bit to clean and watery. Light to medium bitter. Light sweet. Light acid. Light to medium body. Moz (613), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 14, 2007 Bottle: Pours a lightly cloudy amber and results in a lightly flowery nose with a nice dense head. Sticky ring lacing. Lily pad effect of carbonation. Unfortunatly this is where all the fun ended for me. Thinner body surrounded by hops hops and some alkaline stuff. If it gets better when warmer , maybe I should have put it in a microwave or let it sit in the sun. Pass. bubbleflubber (890), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2007 On tap at the Microfestivus ’07... Deep dark amber pour with a diminishing, minimal head that leaves spotty lace. Some caramel and an almost baby powder/airy nose. Caramel malts open up as the brew warms, backed with a biscuity mid-palate and a touch of copper. A nicely dry bitter finish adds a burnt biscuit touch. Although the flavors are well-balanced and decently integrated, the palate is a bit out-of-balance. The body is a bit thin and the mouthfeel a little watery. This seems to start down the right path, but lacks some substance to see it to fruition. pilsnerrogge (1774), Finspång, Sweden

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 4, 2007 A sweet malty and hoppy aroma. I love the subtle sweet aroma it is actually a nice touch to a Premium Bitter beer. The aroma is not really strong, so that requires the drinker to take a strong whiff. I am also noticing a slight caramel smell. Decent aroma I’d say. The beer also has the appearance of caramel. I really like the dark color it is a nice touch, but nothing amazing. A weak flavor if you ask me. It has the sweet taste and hop flavor that were in the aroma, but it does provide a strong taste. Sweet before taste and a bitter hoppy after taste that reminds me of a pale lage hop. Kind of weird but the taste is mediocre. A smooth beer. The palate is decent. The beer overall is good, but I wouldn’t drink it on a regular basis for the hops or for the sweet flavor. Okay beer.
