MNovak (32), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Feb 22, 2007 Cloudy reddish brown pour with a light head. Cean and sweet with caramel, nutty, malty flavor. Another good one from left hand. Ridedom33 (37), Valdosta, Georgia, USA Feb 22, 2007 Bottle. my first left hand product. I was very impressed and would like to try other left hand beers. First thing i noticed is there is almost the perfect ballance between hops and malt but malt actually prevails a little. Dsnutz (71), dallas, Texas, USA Feb 21, 2007 Sawtooth Ale pours a cloudy copper color, with a light white head with a little bit of lacing. This was my first ESB and I rather enjoyed it. chimpscampee (556), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Feb 19, 2007 Malt leads over the hops. I was thirsty when I drank this -- quite drinkable. Slight medicinal edge to it and finish wasn’t as good as rest. k4df4l (154), DTown, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 18, 2007 Bought at Capones in Norristown. Pours copper with a slight haze. Biscuit and earthy hop aroma. Sweet flavor but not cloying or sticky..clean with a good hop balance. Caramel malts and nutty flavor like a toasted victory malt followed by a nice mellow spicy hop finish. Very nicely balanced. SoLan (1367), Orlando, Florida, USA Feb 18, 2007 Dark copper. 3cm frothy white head. Nice lacing. Light earthy bitterness and biscuity caramel with a touch of honey. Light/medium body, balanced carbonation. Decent session brew. conor23 (110), Elgin, Illinois, USA Feb 13, 2007 Very mild aroma, nice red/brown color. Strong hoppiness but not too bitter, and a nutty sweetness as well. mrdeath5493 (108), Arkansas, USA Feb 10, 2007 Brown and translucent. Smooth and refreshing. Malty, slightly bitter, and very drinkable.
