Nov 27, 2006 pours a reddish brown with foamy white ,long lasting.a nice hoppy aroma with some sweetish malts.taste is clean slighty bitter and malty prickley carb. overall I like it I will probley get it again

Nov 24, 2006 Bottled. Fresher than the last Left Hand i had for sure. Good lacing and a nice looking beer - copper orange. Great aroma of malt, peat, caramel and yank hops. Malt and hops fairly well balanced throughout but perhaps a touch to astringent to finish. A touch of grapefruit but overall not enough fruit for me. Not bad for the style.

Nov 15, 2006 Pours a clear medium amber color with an off white head and sticky lacing. Malt and grass in the nose. Smooth and balanced malty flavor. Good beer.

Nov 13, 2006 Deep copper-brown color with a thin head. Mildly sweet caramel malt flavors and low carbonation. The finish has just enough hops to prevent it from being cloyingly sweet. Not bad for the style, but ESB just isn’t that exciting.

Nov 13, 2006 Updated: Dec 15, 2006not being a big fan of ESB’s, i was not excited about this one. but after trying it in colorado on tap, i was pleasantly surprised. this one is copper with a small white head diminishing quickly. the flavor was hoppy and malty but smoothly bitter. overall a well-balanced ESB.

Nov 12, 2006 Bottle. aroma af hops with no malt. medium bitterness. Tastes like a really good pale ale to me. I guess I can’t taste the hard water.

Nov 9, 2006 Slightly murky orange color with thin off white head. A rather full malt aroma of pale, grain and biscuit malts. Solid malt flavors coming from caramel, lightly roasted malts, pale malts and grain like malts. There seems to be a load of non-fermentable sweet and grainy malt sugars. The grain malts are so grainy there’s almost a husk grittiness left behind in the aftertaste. The maltiness actually seems to grow stronger as time passes. Hops are just barely noticeable and play a minor role.
