crazyvin (1245), New York, USA Nov 2, 2006 pretty medicore, it seemed to have potental in the begining but just seemed average. A nice amber hue with a froathy white head and a sweet knoey like nose. Flavor was sweet with some hops. balanced but nothing special. TheBeerCollector (548), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Nov 1, 2006 Another boring beer from Left hand. A craft brewed beer for the masses...well let them have it. harmfuldrunk (288), New Jersey, USA Oct 25, 2006 toffee and caramel sweet nose, nice maltiness this is actually a decent beer, alost a dark chocolaty effect, not very bitter just sexy joshwilfong (769), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Oct 24, 2006 deep copper appeance, well balanced flavor with hoppy finish, not extraordinary but very enjoyable and quality ale EithCubes (2139), Indiana, USA Oct 22, 2006 Bottle. Sweet fruity and hoppy nose. Strong earthy notes. Pours clear orange with a huuuge creamy beige head, rocky and extensively-lacing. Hoppy and lightly bitter. Caramel, toffee, light earthiness. Dark sweetness. Light-medium body. Very soft mouthfeel, balanced and gentle. This leans toward the watery side, but no matter, it’s a good session. Aurelius (2643), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Oct 19, 2006 A distinctly milky aroma with sweet caramel and volatile western hops which are piney and vanilla on the inhale. Brilliant, reddish-bronze and very clear. Interesting label. Grassy, somewhat drier and more cereal than I was expecting, acidic. Not a huge hop charge, but a building bitterness. Crisp and amply CO2 charged, medium body. Aftertaste has some very light roast and chocolate. I gave a bottle of this to PorterPounder a couple of months back, and now my bread has come back upon the water. A very poised brew. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Oct 19, 2006 Poured a amberish small head smalle lacing. Aroma was very musty. Flavor was of caramel malts woody some fruitiness to it as well. Mouthfeel was a little off. Okay but not great.
trafford (171), Germantown, Tennessee, USA Oct 18, 2006 I was a little disappointed in this beer from Left Hand after devouring the Milk Stout. It had great potential after the pour. Rich amber color with a thin head with a little lacing. The first drink was ok, but the next had an odd lasting taste, and it wasn’t the hops.
