ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA Apr 25, 2006 Bottled. Clear strawberry red color with an ivory head. Malty aroma. Dry chalky flavor. All malt, kind of grainy. The chalkiness lingers in the finish. Beerdedone (1873), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 25, 2006 Updated: Apr 26, 2006On Draft at Issac Newton’s with Stegosaurus. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of hops and fruit. Flavor is citrus, carbonated, sweet, with a slight bitter finish. Didn’t enjoy this one. kimcgolf (822), Dacula, Georgia, USA Apr 22, 2006 Poured from 12 0z. bottle. Reddish apearance, true to style, but little head and no lacing. Bitter throughout, as expected, with a very dry palate to begin with, that but became less so near the end...left a good finish. Not my favorite beer, but at 4.5% abv, a good one to have if drinking several. TheOrange (405), Kent, Ohio, USA Apr 21, 2006 Nice clear golden body, with a liight beige head. Looks like a lot of carbonation went into this little bottle. This beer has a distinct Tea like aroma, very different. Very hoppy flavor, with a good shot of bitterness. Very long finish, and bit of a hoppy aftertast. Not bad. Retorp (2154), Tampa, Florida, USA Apr 12, 2006 Aroma is faint, but slightly vegetal with some meaty umami notes. Dark amber in color with a quickly diminishing thumb thick white (at start) head. Fore is very light tasting with some bready grain notes, mild honey/apple sweetness and some very faint citric notes. Overall it is pretty refreshing, but has a heavy crispness to it that lets you know that it is no lager. Veeve (312), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA Apr 10, 2006 Updated: Apr 11, 2006pours out of the bottle a weak, clear and watery, copper body with medium carbonation. while the appearance for the most part is unimpressive the medium-small head is rather creamy and has a beautiful yellow and eggshell-white color. there is a little bit of thinly scattered lacing. tastes of light hops and grass. can even pick up a bit of vanilla in the background. this has a sprinkle of sweetness throughout but then finishes mildly bitter. its not a very bravado beer but it was mellow and easy to drink. another beer drinker might find it lacking but I found it quite pleasingly simple and refreshing since I wasn’t in the mood for anything more complex. frankenkitty (1900), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Apr 4, 2006 Bottled on 01 25 06
I have to call this an "easy drinker" as I just swigged down two before realizing I hadn’t jotted down a single note. Pours a bright copper with a large, cream-colored head that (at just above cellar temp) leaves a wicked semblance of lacing. Citric hops and wet dog in the nose above stale, caramel nuttiness. Balanced flavor showcasing those nutty malts with a hint of honey-sweetness before ending with light bitterness. These are good and, like I mentioned, they go down fast.

Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Mar 28, 2006 Aroma had a moderate bitter hop to it. Dark amber body with decent head that disipated and left a cloudy cover on the body. Flavor had a syrupy feel and that seemed to hold back the bitterness which was fine for me. Medium bitterness on the palate. A decent beer.
