jimmyh221 (157), Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA Mar 26, 2006 It was lightly cloudy with a lasting off white head. This was a beer that was fairly balanced. It wasn’t as hoppy as I would have expected. bethmatt0421 (317), Covington, Kentucky, USA Mar 25, 2006 Strong hop, and malt characteristics. Average body, with a sticky texture. Aromas are piney and a hint of syrup. Sharp, sweet bite. Not a whole lot to brag about here. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 25, 2006 On Draft at Issac Newton’s. Pours amber with a decent sized white head. Aroma of pine, hops, and fruit. Flavor is citrusy, carbonated, sweet, with a slight bitter finish. Good body, good brew. DerBiermeister (500), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Mar 23, 2006 I really like this brew. It is my favourite of the Left Hand brews so far. It is hoppy, somewhat bitter, but also refreshing, not too watery, not too strong - it is a good balance. It would be nice if the ABV were a bit higher though. Strykzone (1458), Wood River, Illinois, USA Mar 22, 2006 Floral and fruit in the aroma. Plenty of hops, too. I find more bitterness than other raters have indicated. Very pleasant. Some tartness is evident, perhaps grapefruit. The body is medium to light and in color the beer is a nice amber. Remainng lacing is on the oil side. Some of the malt appeared in the finish. This was an interesting mix of sour, sweet, and bitter. Very nice. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 21, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear amber with a creamy, off-white head leaving a neat lacework. Lovely nose full of aroma hops. Medium body with a caramelish sweetness and some great hops leaving more flavour and aroma than bitterness. Great brew. 200306 MoreHead (355), Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA Mar 8, 2006 poured a clear dark amber with average head and lacing, visible carbonation. aroma is slightly yeasty, almost a light horse blanket. taste was malty with a nice hops finish. nicely done.
