Lubiere (4464), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jan 9, 2006 Red amber ale with a white head. Sweet malt aroma with floral hops. Good nutty malts in mouth with floral hops. More of a brown ale in taste. Good stuff. Mondial 2005. RooftopRogue (423), Champaign, Illinois, USA Jan 3, 2006 This beer has an aroma consisting of roasted grain, nuts and berries in the background. It is a copper colored solution that pours a good thick off-white head. This beer is thin and offers a taste of toasted sour dough bread that is a tad bitter which fades to fast leaving a nutty taste lingering. awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA Jan 2, 2006 Hazy amber ale with a thin white head. Stale, moldy smell, taste and finish. I suspect this beer may have been mistreated. hopscotch (5440), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Dec 30, 2005 Bottle... Lightly hazy amber ale with an orange tint. Small, frothy, off-white head. Good retention. The nose is of black tea, light butterscotch and mild cocoa. Flavor is perfectly balanced, but thin, with just a hint of toffee. Light to medium-bodied and lightly creamy with fizzy carbonation. Finishes crisp and fairly clean. FlagstoneHill (211), Erie, Colorado, USA Dec 29, 2005 Bottle... ...Med Copper color, crystal clear, lt tan head... ...hints of maltiness, toast, herby hoppiness.. ..medium bitterness and sweetness. bitter finish... ... prickly carbonation, medium body... ...Straightforward ESB. Clean flavors, well balanced
jigglyjock (159), Seattle, Washington, USA Dec 18, 2005 Updated: Dec 21, 2005Roasted malts, a nice bitter hop finish, and a smooth medium body mouthfeel. Nice oragne brown color with a moderate, soft, fine, white head. A very well balanance ESB. alabamajohn (67), Alabama, USA Dec 17, 2005 This is a decent brew, and perhaps a little underrated. A little hop bite, with a little sweetness and malt. It is thin, but I think that’s what makes it a good session beer. Drink the whole bomber yourself. Quixote18 (230), Johnson City, Tennessee, USA Dec 4, 2005 On draft. Slightly rocky off- white head that mostly diminishes. Nice lacing, especially for a medium-bodied beer. It was clean and well hopped. Try it with your favorite pizza!
