Commercial Description:
Sawtooth Ale is an English style Extra Special Bitter. It is an extremely well balanced beer, with significant hop character, medium body, and a maltiness which increases in evidence as the beer warms to its "proper" drinking temperature. . The water used is quite hard, bringing it to near Burton on Trent levels, keeping it true to the style. This gives it the appropriate character and improves the malt extract significantly.

Pours clear amber with a nice beige head that leaves good lace. Aroma is sweet with slight citrus. Creamy caramel texture with a nice hop bite to it and some nutiness. This is a good beer.

Pours bright amber into a shaker. Off-white head quickly recedes to sickly coat surface. Biscuit and sour malt aromas. Sweet and sour caramel upfront. Crisp and sour through the middle. Lasting malt finish.

A very decent, very good ESB. It is actually good at room temp. Very large body, heartiness, and an adequate hop profile. Earthy feel to it all.

Bottle. Not bad. Nice amber color. Mild malts and very light hops. I can see the tea qualities that people have mentioned. Pretty Cool.

Bottle 355 ml
Appearance: clear ale of light amber, medium head, some lace shown 3-
Nose: Good blend of hops and malts. Lightly fruity with faint-plum, aromatic hops.
Flavor/Palate : medium full bodied. Toasted malts on oily thick body. Somewhat woody light organic feel. Sweet fruity with back tea like finish, hint of lemon grass. Good drinkable session ale.

Bottle. A nice reddish brown color. Medium head with nice lacing. A subtle hoppy aroma. Smooth going down, with I think a fairly long-lasting palate. The flavor is not very strong, more sweet than hoppy. I think this might be a refreshing summertime beer because it’s not filling. I could drink a few of these.
