Pours a very clear brownish red body, some white creamy head, diminishing. Bitter malty aroma, hoppy. Musty and somewhat dusty. Malty sweet taste. very drinkable. Somewhat dusty. some bitterness, vegetableness. Drying on the aftertaste. Sweet and dry taste. Some spices. curly (548), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Mar 6, 2009 Pours clear amber with a nice beige head that leaves good lace. Aroma is sweet with slight citrus. Creamy caramel texture with a nice hop bite to it and some nutiness. This is a good beer. thornecb (1734), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Mar 1, 2009 Pours bright amber into a shaker. Off-white head quickly recedes to sickly coat surface. Biscuit and sour malt aromas. Sweet and sour caramel upfront. Crisp and sour through the middle. Lasting malt finish. stchloe (473), Portland, Oregon, USA Mar 1, 2009 A very decent, very good ESB. It is actually good at room temp. Very large body, heartiness, and an adequate hop profile. Earthy feel to it all. bconley (351), Fern Park, Florida, USA Feb 28, 2009 Bottle. Not bad. Nice amber color. Mild malts and very light hops. I can see the tea qualities that people have mentioned. Pretty Cool. Radek Kliber (3912), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada Feb 26, 2009 Bottle 355 ml

dwaggs2 (530), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Feb 11, 2009 Ok beer. Not great. Bottle. Pours an amber color with no head. Decent lacing. Aroma is some hops and malts. Kind of watery. Smooth beer tjw (10), , Massachusetts, USA Feb 10, 2009 Bottle. A nice reddish brown color. Medium head with nice lacing. A subtle hoppy aroma. Smooth going down, with I think a fairly long-lasting palate. The flavor is not very strong, more sweet than hoppy. I think this might be a refreshing summertime beer because it’s not filling. I could drink a few of these.
