Commercial Description:
Sawtooth Ale is an English style Extra Special Bitter. It is an extremely well balanced beer, with significant hop character, medium body, and a maltiness which increases in evidence as the beer warms to its "proper" drinking temperature. . The water used is quite hard, bringing it to near Burton on Trent levels, keeping it true to the style. This gives it the appropriate character and improves the malt extract significantly.

Ok beer. Not great. Bottle. Pours an amber color with no head. Decent lacing. Aroma is some hops and malts. Kind of watery. Smooth beer

Bottle. A nice reddish brown color. Medium head with nice lacing. A subtle hoppy aroma. Smooth going down, with I think a fairly long-lasting palate. The flavor is not very strong, more sweet than hoppy. I think this might be a refreshing summertime beer because it’s not filling. I could drink a few of these.

pours a clear light amber color with a thin white head. retention is not that good. aroma is very sweet and malty with some nuttiness and a faint hop presence. flavor is very balanced between light nutty caramel and subtle hops. nice mouthfeel and crisp finish. not an outstanding beer but an enjoyable session beer for sure.

Pour is a little cloudy amber with a frothy head. Wow, aroma is pure malt. Almost like un-fermented malt. Then some wonderful malt flavor and then some mild bitterness that dont cover up the malt. If you love malt this is your beer.

Bottle poured to glass. Nice copper brew with off white head. Sweet malty aroma of straw. Sweaty yeast flavor perfectly balanced with the hops bitter. Very well done beer and decent lacing.
