May 10, 2003 As it slips from the bottle into my glass a glistening copper color, the head median in size, spumescent in texture and the color a winsome light tan. All malt is the nose, crisp, clean and fresh with the start somewhat sweet, the top light to medium in feel. Finish has specific acidic bite, the hops lenient in their spiciness, quite dry and a decent beer for the forth coming hot summer afternoons.

Mar 13, 2004 Bottled on 10 21 03 drank on 03 13 04. Clear orange copper color with an almost non-existant white head. Rich malty aroma with hints of caramel and bread. Medium bodied, starts and ends lightly sweet and then gets dry.

Oct 7, 2003 Deep amber, decent head. Nose is malty, slightly woody/smoky, somewhat citric, interesting mix. Hops are tart and sharp, nice bitterness, followed by plenty of sweet malts. Good.

Aug 13, 2003 Copper color and a decent head that mostly faded but left behind some fair lacing. Nice floral hop and fruity malt aroma and flavors. Very well-balanced. Crisp palate and medium bitter finish. Flavors linger quite nicely. A quality beer from a quality brewery. I could happily drink several of these in succession.

Jul 4, 2006 Ripe citrus aroma, with some floral hops coming through as well. An appealing taste of many different fruits at the center of this beer. Malt profile is slightly chewy, this is a well balanced beer that you can really wrap your palate around. Satisfying with a ingratiating lingering aftertaste.

Sep 26, 2007 Amber with nice off white head. Aroma was hoppy with citrus accent and some light rye. Flavour is full, rich and bitter at the finish. Quite smooth on the palate throughput.
