Jul 19, 2005 Pours copper with little head and many minute suspended particles. Mild floral light caramel and toasted malt aroma. Juicy malt flavor with soft British hop character. Decent body and mouth feel for such a low alcohol ale. Maybe bland by American standards but still a balanced quality ale.

Jul 5, 2007 Pours hazy dark burgundy with a fully receding light tan head. Aroma of caramelized alefruits, toffee. Taste is sweet, fruity with notes of plum, raisin, and toffee. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly sticky with lush carbonation. Sticky and under attenuated.

Apr 24, 2005 Light aroma of hops. Pours a nice honey color with little head and zero lacing. A bit sweet and flat with the right amount of hops and malts. A little too thin for my liking - might be better as a more medium-bodied brew. Palate leaves a touch of bitterness in the back of the mouth but is largely uninspiring. Decent overall - very drinkable.

Mar 28, 2006 Aroma had a moderate bitter hop to it. Dark amber body with decent head that disipated and left a cloudy cover on the body. Flavor had a syrupy feel and that seemed to hold back the bitterness which was fine for me. Medium bitterness on the palate. A decent beer.
