Bottle. Aroma sweet from malts. Poured amber with off white head. Initial notes of toasted almond. Nice on the tongue. Goes down easy.

Jan 6, 2010 12oz. Pours very nice red and lightly cloudy orange with nice fluffy head. Smells of malt and light hops. Tastes very balanced between malts and hops. Great beer anytime of year, very refreshing. Always a go to beer on my list. Drink liberally.

Jan 5, 2010 From bottle at Delirium Hoppy Loft, Brussel. Clear, deep amber with a lacing, yellowish head. Fruity hop aroma. Intricate fruity and slightly earthy hop flavours. Very dry and very good.

Dec 31, 2009 From an old rating note: 12oz bottle from left hand sample pack. hazy orange pour with medium beige head. roasted caramel and floral hop aroma. Same in the taste - caramel malts up front then crisp hops in the dry finish.

Like the name says, very well balanced. But it doesn’t have a whole lot going on. Decent and smooth, but nothing stands out about it.
Would definitely drink it though when i needed a serviceable ale.

Dec 18, 2009 Updated: Dec 19, 2009Bottle. Poured orange with a moderate white head that fell to a white ring fairly quick, leaving a bit of lacing as I drink.. Aroma is bready with sweet fruitiness, plus some floral, almost soapy hops. Flavor is toffee, bread, apricot, plus some light hops on the finish. Has a moderate mouthfeel. The flavors of this just don’t mesh very well to me. It’s inoffensive and I’m having no problem drinking it, it just doesn’t taste particularly good.

Dec 15, 2009 Bottle. Amber color. Pear, flowery hops and some tropical fruit in the sedate aroma. Pear, mango, just a touch of flowery and citric hops in the flavor. Hints of cinnamon and dust in the aftertaste. Decent, satisfyingly balanced ale.
