COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The name is a play on the brewer Wayne Stark and the popular detective show from the 70’s. The winning submission in the Scotch Ale category of the 2010 Indian Peaks Pro Am brew competition.

Draft at Lefthand. Deep brown-black, actually darker than the Imperial Stout. Rich chocolate tones, some sweet brown sugar notes too. Mellow carbonation. This is a pretty solid Scotch Ale. Well balanced, despite the minimal hoppitude.

On Tap at Left Hand Brewing Company, Longmont 15/09/2010 Fruit and malt aromas. Beige head. Dark coloured smooth on the palate hoppy and fruity with a hint of dryness in a bitter lasting malt finish.
