3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 taphandle (1135) - Texas, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Yellow, very clear, good head. Aroma is mostly malt but that is obliterated by a good hit of pineapple that’s given off by the hops. Very carbonated and decently bitter. Refreshing.
3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sammy (7120) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 6, 2011
Pours light orange that poured a huge head that leaves three-eighths of an inch retained. Off-aromas. Initially orange and hoppy flavours, followed by lots of malt. Decent drinkability, but a bottle is a lot. Decent mouthfeel.

Another beer I’m way off on with my Ratebeerians. I liked the look of this one with an amber pour with a lacing white head. the aroma had bread, yeast, malt, a bit of caramel. The flavor was sweet to start but quickly turned bitter as the hops took hold. Clean and dry for the finish. Better than my comrades would suggest.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Nephilium (1164) - Ohio, USA - AUG 5, 2011
This starts with a nice floral aroma, with caramel undertones. Pours a clear amber, with a small white head. This is a malt forward beer, with a touch of rye peeking through and a mild finish. Overall, this is a nice easy drinking beer, although I would prefer more of a hop presence.

Draught at Ölrepubliken
Clear golden with a large head.
Fresh, floral aroma.
Slightly metallic flavour and pretty lame and tin actually.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of malt, hops, slight diacetyl, and some resin. Poured amber in color with a small, white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Hazy. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of butter, malt, and some hops. Medium body. Tingly texture. Average carbonation. Malt and butter finish.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 unclemike (1925) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - AUG 1, 2011
Pours out a very well carbonated clear golden color with a thin off white head. Aroma is of some odd grassy hops and some cereal. Taste has got some odd metallic notes in there, grainy cereal, toast and some light grassy hops.I was Let down by this beer

Bottle from Friar Tuck in Savoy, IL. Pours amber with an off white head. Aroma of citrusy hops. Lighter side of medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor of pale malts and rye countered by a sharp spicy bitterness. Very dry and overattenuated for my tastes. Finish is soapy and astringent.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 beergodd1 (400) - Conneaut, Ohio, USA - JUL 31, 2011
Poured Clear, light straw pour with a huge foamy white head. Aromas of Light, bready malt with a bit of spiciness and light herbal hops. The flavor is grainy malts with some sweetness, leading to a grainy - peppery bitterness. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and kind of watery. Not a very good one from Left Hand. There are far more tasty Pale Ales out there.

Light golden pour with very little head. Smells like a light pale ale. Not much going on. Palate is pretty light bodied with just enough weight to not piss me off. The taste has some bitterness but is fairly lightly hopped. Mellow sweet malts. LIghtish APA that is pretty drinkable I had 2 at the bar.
