COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sane or senseless? Harmless or harmful? Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a stranger. Initial impressions are not always reality, so you must delve deeper. Beyond the initial floral hop aromas, malt sweetness is revealed, yet with a spicy undertone that exposes a very rye sense of humor. Take your time to get to know the Stranger. Itís strangely satisfying.

Tap at Papago. Yellow with white head. Citrusy hops without being jarringly bitter like an IPA. Malt profile comes through and offers bread, crackers. Maybe even some spicy rye nuttiness, especially once warmed a bit in the glass. Not super complex but definitely better than average pale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

otakuden (1783) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 22, 2013
Appearance: Deep golden orange in the middle with straw highlights along the sides. A bread white head fades like a crown.
Nose: Dew-dropped citrus and green grass. Crackers in the back. Grapefruit zest underneath.
Palate: Sweet rolls dipped in grapefruit and lemon oils in the middle with lemon and grapefruit zest along the sides. Cracker crunch in the back.
Final Thoughts: An average pale ale but if you are looking for an easy session that wonít slap your tastebuds around, maybe this is the one.

This is a pretty uninteresting pale. Grassy, lots of straw, mild hop character. A little bit on the watery side.

Hmm...not much to say here: Itís a decent pale ale--nice spicy and almost astringent note to it. Very sessionable, not exceptional; typifies what Left Hand is all about.
