2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear, golden beer with a thin, white, pillowy head which is mostly diminishing and leaves some drippy lace. The nose is dusty, lightly bready, some grass, and orange. The flavor is slightly spicy, grassy, orangey, bready, and a light sweaty note. The palate is thin, watery, light, and lively. It finishes sweaty, spicy, and bready. Just bad all the way around, much worse than the pale it replaced.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours an amber color with a white head. Aroma is of citrus and floral hops, with some caramel and light toasted malts. Flavor is sweet at first with the caramel malts that gives way to the citrus and floral hops.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hops, tea and spice in the aroma while the appearance is yellow-gold. The taste is the rye up front with the hoppinesss behind it. Not really that different from the retired old APA Left Hand makes although the rye helps with the flavor some.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at WOB in Land O Lakes, FL. Pours a clear golden amber color with a medium sized head. Excellent lacing that continues to cling to glass during the entire duration of the beer. Mild hop aroma with some initial funky (wet dog?) notes that seem to mellow and eventually dissipate as the beer sits. Nice flavor that has moderate hoppiness with some caramel malt notes as well.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours clear with small white head, very little aroma. Taste was light and citrusy. Really had to search for the hops on this one.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle from iTap-Soulard, enjoyed with a plate of pastrami and prime rib from Bogart’s during some Women’s World Cup games. Pours a clear gold with a small white head, pretty basic. Notes of grassy and floral hops, pale malts, peach, citrus fruit, and some faint dry herbs and hay. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and such a light mouthfeel. Not a whole lot to it but got the job done for my purposes.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Alas, not the hoppy type of APA. Kind of just your average beer. Not enough hops for my taste.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Draught) Pours clear golden with a creamy white head. The aroma holds fresh roasted bread and orange marmalade up front alongside a mix of flowers, subtle fruit and almost buttery (yet clean) malt. Light oxidized ones the beer gets warmer. Light resinous and earthy on the nose. Maybe some old newspapers and Swedish snus. The flavour light sweet to dry, light to medium bitter and tiny acidic. Tones of citrus, light herbs, bread, cookies and a light whisper of metal from the hops. The mouthfeel is clean, round and light to medium carbonated. Watery finish with a light citric finish. Light to medium bodied.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light amber, cream head. Bitter hops, faint florals, citrus, and light malt. Easy to drink, hops are not overpowering, malts are doing their thing, and a lightly bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light amber color, translucent. Herbal aroma, neither strong nor clearly defined. Clean flavor... sweet malt base with complex hops bitterness. Earthy, chewy, interesting. Not your average APA. Good counter-balance to all those bright citrus interpretations of this style. Left Hand also gets bonus points for their great labels.
