Sane or senseless? Harmless or harmful? Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a stranger. Initial impressions are not always reality, so you must delve deeper. Beyond the initial floral hop aromas, malt sweetness is revealed, yet with a spicy undertone that exposes a very rye sense of humor. Take your time to get to know the Stranger. It’s strangely satisfying.

From a twelve ounce bottle purchased at "Ludlow Wines" in Cincinnati, Ohio - Alright, I like my IPA’s and wanted to really like this one, but it came in dead last. The brew poured golden fluid with a rapidly fading white head and an extremely faint aroma. Tastewise, this was more like an overnighted lager than a true IPA... where’s the ciyrus/hoppy blast? The blasting bitterness? Still drinkable, but not great.

Bottle pours a clear gold with a thin off white head. Scent is light citrus. Taste is grainy. Boring

bottle - This brew has an aroma of citrus and pine hops. The flavor is similar with a good balance of sweet malt. This medium bodied brew has moderately bitter and overall is a solid pale ale.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine in Norfolk, VA. Hazy orange pour with a nearly white head. Aroma of tangerine and lemons with some caramel sweetness to balance. The hop flavor is obvious but very understated. Lemon zest and tangerines are the most obvious flavors yet despite the citrus flavor there is a floral and spicy finish. I think pale ale is the best category for this beer but it certainly does not define the style very well. Nothing at all offensive about this one but nothing very memorable either. Just ok.

Clear dark gold pour. Foamy, pale head dissipates quickly to a nice lace. Fair aroma of citrus hops & light malt. Taste is fair. nice hop with a slight malt sweetness. Ends dry and grapefruit bitter.

Definitely one of the purtiest brews I’ve seen in a while! This brew poured up a crystal clear, topaz colored body with a hefty head with amazing retention and lacing effects on the glass. Aromas are just abundant an amazing: citrus fruit, hops, and a slight hint of sweet malts. Quite full of hops but nothing too harsh or overbearing (at least for this malt-head!). Good spice notes with grapefruit and some lemon flavors mixed in. Medium-bodied with a very easy drinkability level with a nice, dry finish that has just a slight kick from the hops.

Medium foamy finely sized white long lasting colored bubbles that left behind a hazy yellow colored body with finely sized strong carbonation. Musty malty aroma. Mediumly tingly palate from start to finish. Soft floral hop flavor.

Courtesy of Strykzone. Poured a clear gold with a twhite head. and light lacing. Nose of light malts and floral hops. Light in body and with a bland mouthfeel Flavor is hops, mostly floral. Finish is lightly bitter. Pretty tame beer but OK to drink.
