Sane or senseless? Harmless or harmful? Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a stranger. Initial impressions are not always reality, so you must delve deeper. Beyond the initial floral hop aromas, malt sweetness is revealed, yet with a spicy undertone that exposes a very rye sense of humor. Take your time to get to know the Stranger. Itís strangely satisfying.

This is a pretty uninteresting pale. Grassy, lots of straw, mild hop character. A little bit on the watery side.

Bottle Clear yellow-light gold colour. Wonderfull, huge white head, lacing glass. Aroma of American hops. Smooth resins mixed with tropical fruits, some lemons, grapefruits - nice. Taste - mild bitterness - hops, tropical fruits, smooth grapefruits and lemon. Thin texture with medium carbonation. Short finish. Very drinkable, session beer, dissapear quickly.

Bottled. Pours a golden yellow with a decent white head. The aroma is quite hoppy, with light citrus tones. The taste is pretty smooth and mild, initially hoppy. Medium body with the rye coming out in the finish. Overall a a session pale ale, pretty mild but good.

Hmm...not much to say here: Itís a decent pale ale--nice spicy and almost astringent note to it. Very sessionable, not exceptional; typifies what Left Hand is all about.

Bottle (regretfully no glass available) at Psycho Suziís. Iím going to assume a golden color with some hints of copper. Aroma faintly of hops but nothing overpowering. Surprisingly easy to drink and tastes just above average. A decent option if youíre at a tiki bar and everyone around you us drinking from a shrunken head or a tall boy PBR. Slight bitter aftertaste that is a definite letdown.

Bottle. Pours an orangey color, thin white head, no retention to speak of. Nose is fruity/citrus hops, hay (alfalfa) and grainy malts. Mouth is thin and watery, sorta balanced between the hops and the malts though... but thatís about the best compliment I can give this. Finishes is a balance of soap and grain. Stranger, sorry but wish we hadnít met.

Not a bad pale ale. Really bitter and and has a strong citrus flavor. Really bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
