Sane or senseless? Harmless or harmful? Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a stranger. Initial impressions are not always reality, so you must delve deeper. Beyond the initial floral hop aromas, malt sweetness is revealed, yet with a spicy undertone that exposes a very rye sense of humor. Take your time to get to know the Stranger. It’s strangely satisfying.

I like this beer, however it is darker than it’s predecessor. Side by side you couldn’t tell the difference between the Pale Ale and the IPA. Still an overall delicious brew to drink.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear, dark gold. Minimal head. Quite grainy. Some orange. Tastes grainy sweet. Turns dry, and light bitter. Thinnish palate. Some bitterness, with more grainy sweetness at the end.

Bottle. Golden pour with a thin white head. Mild hops, malts and a hit of spice in the aroma and taste. Decent APA, not a world-beater, but still a nice brew.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a thin head. Nose - lemon peel and pale malt. Lemon/orange zest comes later. Taste - orange zest nicely intertwined with cereal. Palate - close to medium bodied with a subtle tangy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - very balanced and easy drinking. A beer of elegance that improves all the time.

Bottle. Hazy gold with thin white head. Aroma and taste are melon, caramel, tea and pear. Taste is has a very seltzery quality too. Thin mouthfeel and light carb. Seems to be old. Not good.

On tap at Dan's. The pour is light, golden, ring of head and no lace. The aroma is crisp and clean. Lightly hoppy, some good citrus and a touch of floral. There seems to be a little lacking. The flavor is just as light. Some citrus and bitter hops on the back end with a little grassy note in the middle. The mouth feel is thin, clean, not carbonated. The aftertaste isn't really there ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Transfer from BA review on 8-20-12 - Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – The beer was served a light golden-straw color with a one finger white head. The head faded relatively fast to give a medium amount of lacing. Smell – A aroma is strongest of biscuit and bready smells mixed with some citrus of grapefruit and orange. Mixed with these is an ever so light floral aroma as well. Taste – The taste begins with some caramel mixed with a biscuit base. As the taste advances some hop flavors of a more citrus nature come to the tongue. Toward the end the brew dries out some as a more floral hop flavor comes to the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the brew was on the average thickness and had a very average carbonation level. Good for the style and one easy drinking brew. Overall – It was very easy to down with a moderately nice flavor. While a good session beer but it is nothing all that special.
