Sane or senseless? Harmless or harmful? Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a stranger. Initial impressions are not always reality, so you must delve deeper. Beyond the initial floral hop aromas, malt sweetness is revealed, yet with a spicy undertone that exposes a very rye sense of humor. Take your time to get to know the Stranger. Itís strangely satisfying.

Bottle, 12oz. Itís a clear, dark golden beer with an off-white head of moderate size. The aroma is quite floral at first, then pine cones and citrus peel kicks in, but not completely removing the floral, rose-like scents. Some spiced hints in the flavor, with roses, citrus peel and pine cones. Full body, quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Thereís a lasting bitterness in there as well. Not sure if I like the floral touch, but itís a decent beer anyway. Quenching. 130821

Yes, a bit floral and lager-like as other guy have mentioned. Not sure Iíd call this an American Pale Ale at all as the hops taste more like a traditional English IPA and the wheaty, lager taste reminds me of a golden ale.

Pours a clear gold with a medium white head. Thereís a medium hops with a hint of spice. It has a medium hops taste. It has a medium to full body with a slightly sticky texture. This is one of the better American pale ales Iíve had, itís almost no different from some of the better IPAs Iíve had.

Pours yellow gold, nice white head. Slight floral aroma. Taste is nice hop and faint sweet malt, with the rye profile shaping everything. Very drinkable, everyday beer - not a stand-out.

Pale golden colored pour. Giant white head. Plenty of lacing. Nice hop aroma. Some danky pine aroma, and citrus. Taste is a watered down malt and hop. Bitter in the back with some lemon notes. Not bad.

Pours a clear golden color with relatively large bubbles and a white head. Aroma is a bit malty. Slight aroma of hops and grass. Slightly sweet with a bit of a wheat flavor. Also, tastes a bit lagery. Not my favorite beer.
