COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sane or senseless? Harmless or harmful? Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a stranger. Initial impressions are not always reality, so you must delve deeper. Beyond the initial floral hop aromas, malt sweetness is revealed, yet with a spicy undertone that exposes a very rye sense of humor. Take your time to get to know the Stranger. It’s strangely satisfying.

12oz bottle poured into a Shaker at 41°. Color is bright gold with light carbonation and a very thin head. Aroma is a nice fruity hop scent. It has a medium body with a smooth mouth feel. Flavor of mild roasted malt and caramel, then some floral hops show with a mild bitterness. In the after taste the bitterness hangs on with a fruity hop taste coming out. Overall its a very good American Pale Ale.

Near clear golden amber pour with fading khaki head. Nose is floral and slightly spicy. The flavor is more spicy hops with citrus finish. Rye on the tail end? Pretty good pale ale actually. Sharp spicy lingering bite.

Bottle at Kuma’s. Happened to see this in the cooler and had to give it a go. Pours a standard orangey-copper with a white head. Nose is C-hops and some light faint caramel. Crisp. On taste, it’s nothing special, but it is really clean. Lightly fruity with juicy hop notes. Firm malt backbone. Imminently drinkable and worth drinking. Solid APA.

Another beer I’m way off on with my Ratebeerians. I liked the look of this one with an amber pour with a lacing white head. the aroma had bread, yeast, malt, a bit of caramel. The flavor was sweet to start but quickly turned bitter as the hops took hold. Clean and dry for the finish. Better than my comrades would suggest.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 6/27/2013. Pours hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, floral, pine, grass, spicy rye, caramel, bread, and toast. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of malt and hop notes with decent strength; very unique aromas. Taste of grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, floral, pine, grass, caramel, light rye spiciness, bread, and toast. Light floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, floral, pine, caramel, light rye, bread, and toast on the finish for a bit. Good complexity of hop and malt flavors; with very balanced hop/malt flavors and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a nice pale ale. Good balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

very decent pale ale. Bubbly and light with a slight orange peel finish. Don’t let the low rating fool you this is a good pale ale.

Nose is a moist, citrus hop with mild malt. Pours a rich golden color with a thin white head. Thin mouthfeel with coppery lead and moist, malty finish. Hops are fresh and grassy. Well balanced.
