COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sane or senseless? Harmless or harmful? Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a stranger. Initial impressions are not always reality, so you must delve deeper. Beyond the initial floral hop aromas, malt sweetness is revealed, yet with a spicy undertone that exposes a very rye sense of humor. Take your time to get to know the Stranger. It’s strangely satisfying.

Bottle. Pale gold with a thin head. Yeasty, sweet, thin, without a lot to get excited about, with a bitterness that tends more towards off-putting than appetizing.

Pale yellow color, I don’t get any off flavors. It is crisp, floral beer and a little spicy hop finish. The soft mouthfeel kills the crisp floral aspects of this beer at the end, though.

Bottled. Poured clear medium golden with a short, sticky white head. The aroma picked up sticky pale maltage and grains with mostly vegetal notes accenting.. not all that good. The flavor found semi-sweet honey and crusty bread at the core.. some piney bitterness and more vegetal notes around.. finished sticky-sweet with moderate bitterness. Light-medium bodied with an OK feel and flow.. drinkable, but not that good.

Pours clean sharp gold. One finger of creamy eggshell white head. Not much on the nose, lots of grass and ass. Same on the flavor. Good lord.

Pour is a dull yellow with a large white head. Aroma is decently hopped with some dull malt. Flavor is floral hop to start but finishes really watery and tasteless. Not a reall good effort on this one. Way to watery.

Chipalsa (1307) - Florida, USA - JUN 19, 2011
Pours a clear dirty golden, light bodied, and a white head. Smelled spicy of hops and malts, metallic even with notes of lemon zest. The taste was bitter of hops and dry citrus, with a little bit of malts that create an okay balance. Finishes spicy and bitter-dry, but overall a very light pale ale. Could wish for some more robust flavors here.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2013 Bottle. Love the marketing. Beer is okay. Little bit of Czech pils nose. Taste is slight hop and kind of fruity.

Bottle pours orange with average white head. Aroma of breaded malts and citrus. Flavors of breaded malts, lemon, and lime with a hint of honey-like sweetness. Dry finish.

Bottle. Clear, golden with minimal head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine..very hoppy with little malt backbone. Flavor is slightly soapy and a touch herbal. Nothing too special here. Some light biscuit in the tail end of the finish..
