COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sane or senseless? Harmless or harmful? Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a stranger. Initial impressions are not always reality, so you must delve deeper. Beyond the initial floral hop aromas, malt sweetness is revealed, yet with a spicy undertone that exposes a very rye sense of humor. Take your time to get to know the Stranger. Itís strangely satisfying.

Poured light golden with no real head. Aroma of floral hops. Flavour is smooth, medium body feel and sweetly floral with understated maltyness. Not much aftertaste. Disappointingly average.

Light, spritzy and effervescent. Bready and toasty malt flavors. Mild hop notes. Mild to moderate bitterness. Not particularly memorable, but very sessionable.

12oz bottle from Binnyís Lakeview. Pours a clear, golden-copper colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is florals hops with a bit of a rye spice. Touches of lemon and a hint of toasted caramel. Flavor is similar. Floral lemons with a light rye spice, a light bready toast, a bit of a caramel note, and a slight papery hint before this finishes pretty dry and moderately bitter with a hint of toasty caramel and lemon. Medium length aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, an alright pale ale. Some toasty caramels and a good amount of floral hops with a light rye spice. Eh.

Bottle. Nose lightly floral, lightly piny hops with some really meaty pungent notes, herbal dankness. Orange body with a short white head. Caramel and earth in the lightly grainy body, semi-dry with low bitterness, body is a bit too full for an APA and the hops a bit too muted. Light spicy tone underneath.

On tap Blackthorn Pub, Holly,MI...nice crisp session ale with some rye spiciness. This was a good starter on a night of tasting at the Left Hand tap takeover.

12oz bottle, pours clear medium golden. Mild hoppy aroma. Taste is floral, grassy hops, pretty thin and light bodied. Refreshing, but pretty unremarkable.

12 oz bottle from Wilburís. Golden, pale and clear with a small white head and patchy lacing. The aroma is floral hops and toasty malts, pretty mild. Similar flavor, with light citrus and spice. Light, soft body with a smooth, clean feel and a crisp finish. It was OK.

Pours a cloudy straw color with a one finger white head. Very mild malt, citrus flavors. Great summer session beer but is kinda lacking full flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours golden with small head. Aroma of caramel, peach and tropical fruits. Caramel malt sweetness with fruity peach aromas. Meidum-low bitterness in the finish. High carbonation. Medium body. Aroma is too weak. A bit boring.
