UPDATED: MAY 22, 2013 Bottle. Pours a clear copper gold with coarse white head that settles quickly. Minimal thin lacing. Aroma is mildly hoppy, citrus, floral, malty, nutty. Flavor is hoppy, mildly resinous, slightly fruity, citrus, floral finish, bitter aftertaste. Detectable malt background. Hop profile is transparent at times, coming through predominantly in bitterness rather than flavor. Moderate carbonation, medium light body, and crisp texture. A decent pale ale, clean, drinkable, but ultimately leaves something to be desired.

12 oz bottle from Wilbur’s. Golden, pale and clear with a small white head and patchy lacing. The aroma is floral hops and toasty malts, pretty mild. Similar flavor, with light citrus and spice. Light, soft body with a smooth, clean feel and a crisp finish. It was OK.

Bottle. This is just your average pale ale. It looks pale with a decent white head. Aroma is rather dull with not much going on, but it has no skunk, which is always a good thing. Flavour is medium bitter with a very short finish. Medium carbo, medium beer.. just average. Nothing wrong with it, nothing extraoridinary either.

Bottle,
this ale had a clear pale yellow-orange pour and it gave a one finger white & faint off-white head that receded to a thin layer and ring, the glass had a medium flowing center stream, there was spots and small fingers of lacing on the glass, there was no sediment in the bottle,
there were aromas of toasted malt, light grass and citrus hops, a little lemon fruit, faint bread and earth notes,
it had flavors of toasted malt and light citrus hops with a little lemon in the background, the finish had a light bitterness and was dry,
the mouth feel was light on the palate with average carbonation,
an APA with a light nose and flavor, it was a so-so drink, a nice beer for a hot Summer day.

a nicely crafted beer taste of citrus floral mild hops and malts such as a pale ale should have. I would think this would pair with many meals. Nice summer brew.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 6/27/2013. Pours hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, floral, pine, grass, spicy rye, caramel, bread, and toast. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of malt and hop notes with decent strength; very unique aromas. Taste of grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, floral, pine, grass, caramel, light rye spiciness, bread, and toast. Light floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, floral, pine, caramel, light rye, bread, and toast on the finish for a bit. Good complexity of hop and malt flavors; with very balanced hop/malt flavors and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a nice pale ale. Good balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
