Thanks for purchasing another offering in our series of "Big Mo" Beers. For as long as people have inhabited Colorado’s Front Range, the Twin Sisters have had a strong impact on Colorado residents. The views from atop the 11,428’ peaks are breathtaking and afford sweeping views of the entirety of Rocky Mountain National Park. As an expression of admiration we have crafted an ale that exhibits a profound impact all its own. At 11428 IBU’s (just kidding), Twin Sisters is a mountainous testament to hops, and that they bring. A feeling of ease and relaxation become apparent for all whom would dare to climb it. So for all that enjoy summiting ales with copious hops additions to achieve a felling of contentment and awe, we offer Twin Sisters Double IPA. Enjoy!

Guest Cask at Greenwich Union. Pours dark orange/Amber with a thick, long lasting white head which is creamy. Aroma is citrus, pine but with a dump of malts. Some caramel, orange, grapefruit and yeast. Taste its quite bitter, medium body and slight alcohol warmth. Medium carbonation. Very pleasant.

This is a hoppy beer, but wouldn’t quite call it a hop bomb. I’ve had hoppier imperial or double IPAs than this. But, I am more of a malthead, so the balance worked well for me. Also smoother than most IPAs/doubles. A good one to split with a friend.

650ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Vika. Shared with Finn and the neighbours next door. Huge pearl white head leaving foamy lacework behind. Hazy apricot coloured body. Floral hops on the nose, hints of fresh fruits. Taste of fresh tropical fruits throughout. Fruity bitterness to the finish. Smooth in the mouth. Full bodied. Hidden alcohol. Likable (Tromsø 04.11.2014).

Hazy light amber, rim head, spots of lace. Taste is strong caramel malt with a vanilla cake taste in the palate that is soon joined by assertive hops. Both sides are strong and assertive, making for a big mouthfeel and a substantial finish that lingers for a long while.

Growler. Pours golden orange with a white head. Earthy hops, light sweet malts, some crystal malts, light candy fruitiness, and a moderate bitter finish. Not awful, but not that good either.

22 oz bottle from backlog notes. Pours a clear orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have resiny and citrus hops, pine, caramel, toffee, grass, decent bitterness that does not overwhelm, solid malt base, I personally enjoy more bitterness in my DIPAs, but this is pretty good.

Burnt orange in color with a disappearing white foam. Combination of tropical fruits and citrus with resin in there too. Medium body with a heavy hop flavor and bitterness. An underachiever for Left Hand but still respectable.
