Pours deep dark with reddish tones, with beige light tan top, frothy, rocky fast foam diminish in small beige layer covering most important, acceptable lacing.
On nose it comes more like Belgian dubbel or quadruppel - sweet yeasty, fruity with only far away dark malt presence, a bit cocoa, a bit earthy, dark caramelized sugar seems is here too, smoked a little also.
Palate seems a bit too much alcohol pungent on tongue, soft carbonation, above medium body, more oily than creamy texture along with some silky mouthfeel, finish - light astringent, light bitter.
Taste seems like sweet with minimal touch of sour and pleasant, gentle bitter from darker malt, roast, . Very berry-sour like flavor, sweet, yeasty. Without stoutish chocolate or coffee strong dominance, bitter is so pleasantly mild for porter/stout like brew.

Draft sample at Beoir Go Leoir. Fruity chocolate malt and light creamy coffee aroma. Black brown with a small tan head. Sweet milk chocolate, light acidic coffee, ashy, light alcohol flavor. Full creamy body, soft carbonation.

Bouteille de 660ml. Bière brune foncée avec une mousse beige. Le nez est simple mais efficace, des houblons, du chocolat, du caramel. En bouche c’est superbe, ronde, la texture agréable, chocolat, l’alcool est discret.

Bottle. Dark brown, almost black pour, smallish foam, ring of tan foam.Roasty, almost smoky aroma, light fruitiness, chocolate, caramel, smells nice. Strong roasty flavor, definitely a tad smoky, acrid, caramel, buttery, leather. Rather thin, soft-medium carbonation. Not very good.

Bottle nearly black body with tan head roasted malt aroma taste is sweet with a light bitter finish I think i will try this with some vanilla ice.

65 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with a tan head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. Flavour is much like the aroma.

(22oz bomber) espresso brown, dark tan fine head. Nose of cocoa nibs, herbsl hops, light vanilla, milk chocolate. Not complex but solid. Taste is medium rich cocoa nibs, not watery, dried orange peel, light milk chocolate, bit earthy, medium thick body and a hint of umami in the finish.
