I gave this beer praise at the bar. I remember the elderberries, pear skins, dried apricots, spring cut grass, earthiness, and pine needles that were present when I had consumed at my corner of the counter. A caramelized undertaste soon followed the hubbub. It was pale, and lustful, and was decently carbed with white rings.

Lite besviken på denna, left hand har aldrig gjort mig besviken tidigare. Kanske är den inte så färsk som den borde va? Lite halmig känsla och en lång bitterhet som inte är speciellt behaglig, söt avslutning.

Very nice strong, hoppy IPA. Tropical, caramell aroma that is mirrored in The taste. Excellent but expensive.

22oz bottle. Pours a clear, deep amber, with an off-white head. Hoppy, slightly oxidized aroma, spruce, resin, apricot, faint notes of cheese, orange peel, herbs. Off-dry, medium to full bodied, high bitterness, creamy, CO2. Quite tired, hoppy taste, cheese, apricot, spruce, resin, orange peel, earth, caramel. Even though the BBF date is short (24-01-2014), it cannot be very old, if you consider when the hop harvest takes place. Still, it feels past its peak, and is starting to go downhill quite rapidly. Well made, but past its prime. (2013-12-15)

I had this at Global Brew. Pours a cloudy amber with a off white head. Taste pine, floral, citrus. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaska från systembolaget. Bärnstensfärgad med beige skum. Frisk humledoft. Svag blommighet. Smaken är maltig med bra tidigt beska. Något vattnig och tunn mot slutet. Känns humletrött vilket inte gör ölet rättvisa. Speciellt när det är ett fresh hop-öl. Ändock ett bra öl

Clear amber colour with frothy white that leaves some lacing. Piney, citrusy and quite green hop aroma. Hints of alcohol and sweet fruits. The taste is bitter with more green hops, pine, citrus and grass. The aftertaste is somewhat salty with a lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Good, but not great.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 1/24/2014. Pours lightly cloudy bright orange amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, orange zest, lemon zest, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good complexity of hop notes with a light-moderate malt presence; and good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, orange zest, lemon zest, pine, floral, grass, bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of spicy pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pine, floral, grass, bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of citrus/grassy hop flavors with light-moderate malt presence; with a nice crisp malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice wet hop IPA. All around good complexity and balance of bright citrus/grassy hops with a fair amount of malt presence; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours amber with a quickly settling off-white head. Aroma is hay, malt, honey, peach, grapefruit. This one may have been on its way from the States to Sweden and / or stored too long. Nowhere near the tropcial fruit notes that one would expect. Taste confirms it. Very tired, hops all but gone. In its place is wet grass, some caramel, honey, moldy and yeasty tones. Would love to try this one fresh as this cannot be how it’s supposed to taste. Graded as is, but will definately re-rate if I get hold of it fresh.
