COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

0.65 bottle. Amber clear. Good inviting caramel, strong green limey citrus hoppyness with a touch of earthy herbs. Full bodied, slightly stone fruity caramels. Clean, soft bitters and a piney finish. Enjoyable nicely balanced brew.

Bottle from SB. Pours clear amber with two fingers of off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, not a lot of hops, maybe hints of resin and fruit but it seems the journey across the Atlantic has caused most of those fresh hops to be not so fresh anymore... Taste is malty sweet at first followed by a somewhat stale bitter finish. Yeah, this is old... Body is light to medium and quite oily. It has all the qualities of a good beer, but unfortunately age has not been kind on this one...

Bottle - Dark amber in colour. Pine, dried fruit, toffee and dried apricot in the aroma. Bitter and hoppy taste with dried fruit, nuts, earthy hops and grapefruit detected.

gyllenbock (4398) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 27, 2013
Bottle, Systembolaget. Clear dark orange with a white head. This was not as hoppy as expedted, maybe the bottle was old? Grass, some herbal notes, light pineapple and citrus. Also light malt. Drinkable but not that impressive to be honest.

I'm such a sucker for fresh hopped ales. This is a very good one from Green Flash, on tap at WOB Savannah. Color leans toward amber, head is the color of the armpit areas of my old white t-shirts, but it tastes much, much better. Trust me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Bready caramel malt, piney orange hops aroma. Clear copper with a large off-white head. Toasty caramel malt, earthy herbal hops, and dry woody flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation.

This is a very nice, very tasty IPA. The aroma is unimpressive, but the flavor is pretty great citrus, bread, and pine.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent lighter orange with foamy off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells solid too; fresh Warrior hops with a pale malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A solid wet-hopped IPA.

EtTuCthulhu (991) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - NOV 18, 2013
This beer has a giant off-white head and a slightly hazy orangeish brown color, and the aroma is a strong hoppy scent (specifically piney, resin, and floral) with a hint of buttery diacetyl. The taste is mildly bitter on the front, which does slowly increase, but the slight sourness and touch of umami blend together nicely for a taste that is well-balanced. The mouthfeel medium-full body, soft carbonation, a fairly abrupt yet slightly bitter finish, and a texture that is thick and buttery.

On tap at The Looking Glass, pours a clear dark amber with a thin head, the aroma has a good amount of citrus with some tropical fruit as well, not overpowering but nice and crisp, the flavor has a citrus front end with some sweetness mixed in the finish, really balanced, mouthfeel is nice, good stuff.
