COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

Beautiful clear, medium bodied, and amber in color. All that was left was the taste which was slightly disappointing. As a Left Hand fan, I’ll give it another go.

Bottle. Pours orange amber with off white head. Nose and taste of caramel malt, citrus, resin/pine, cracker malt and dark fruit. Medium body. Finishes dark resin and bitter. Slightly buttery.

Strong piney aroma. Golden-amber color with a medium clarity. Strong grapefruit hops flavor with some resiny background. Light carbonation, slightly creamy, medium bodied. Very enjoyable IPA that highlights the cascade hops well.

Pours a clear bright amber color with a nice amount of head that faded slowly. Aroma is fairly faint. Getting light fruit, caramel, and earthiness. Taste is pretty sweet at first and then an overpowering bitterness. Not enough flavor to counter it. Lots of caramel malt and minimal hop flavor. Not a big fan of this one.

Bottled about 4 weeks ago. An golden orange color, perfectly clear, with little head or lace and tight carbonation. The aroma is very sweet perfumy concoction of ripe off the vine strawberries, tropical fruit, and a little hop dankness as well as caramel. The flavor is very fruity as well. It’s fairly sweet but piny hops bite fast and there bitterness builds and lasts. It’s fairly thin. An interesting IPA with something unique from the wet hopping.

A good, solid IPA. The price is right and so is the taste. Very hoppy, but nothing super special. Try it and see for yourself.

Bottle from Scott - thanks! Clear, caramel brown pour with a spotty white head. Aroma is light earthy hops with bitterness and minimal pine over slightly sweet malt. Taste is light hop bitterness with pine and a fairly clean, lightly sweet malt backbone presenting caramel before more hop bitterness into the finish. I’ve certainly had more pungent, bitter, and hoppier fresh hop IPAs but this beer drinks with a nice, easy balance between the hops and sweet malt. Pretty good.

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2012 Bomber to snifter. Orangish copper,no head on first pour.Mild aroma of fruit/floral,particularly melon, some complexity, some potent spice pokes in,some resin/dankness.Some sweet carmel malt.Aroma seems to become more noticable and complex .Hop aroma really envelopes and becomes less mild. Prettty nice taste, some carmel malt backbone with toffee notes, spicey hops budge in with some mild fruit/floral and more of pine.Smooth, mildly slick, hoppy, clean but malty with some sweetness but not too dry. Spicey/pine bittering doesnt linger too long, pretty smooth not too sharp.

22 oz. bottle to snifter. Pours red amber with a soapy off white head that dissipates to a spotty film and collar. Aroma is herbal earthy spruce like hops and subtle scents of caramel. Taste is bitter earthy spruce hops with some herbal notes and caramel malt and some slight pepper. Palate is medium crisp and dry. This is pretty nice.
