COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

Clear deep golden/amber with big lacey white head. Lots of citrisy hop aroma and not much else. Starts out bitter and grassy/piney/tangerine and finishes the same way. Just enough malt to balance. Has a lingering bitter finish. I get more tangerine there as well. Some alcohol too. I like this.

Poured in IPA glass from 22oz bottle. Aroma - piny aromas nothing spectacular. Appearance - auburn golden color with medium forth and carbonation. Taste - some hops but more amber than anything. Not bad. Palate - same as taste. Nothing spectacular. Overall - decent beer. Will not seek out again.

northropfrye (1376) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - APR 13, 2013
Nice dark amber colour with lots of foamy white head and lacing, three fingers of head. Hoppy malty aroma. Taste is a nicely balanced malty with some hoppy bitterness. Wow, my ratings are articulate and precise, rather than mundane and vague. Nevertheless, this was enjoyable, and my ratings are trustworthy.

22 oz bottle. Pours a copper color with a bubbly ivory head. Sticky lacing. Aroma of toffee, pine, and citrus. Taste is a bit too sweet for an IPA. Toffee, sweet malts, citrus, and pine. Bittersweet lingering finish. --Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Coppery orange, lots of bubbles, medium small light tan head. Aroma herbal hops with some pine and bit of malt. Medium body, lightly carbonated. Bitter pine and vegetal hops predominate but the bitterness overall is fairly restrained and there is a good amount of malt as well and a little sweetness. Solid if unmemorable IPA.

JStax (1724) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - FEB 21, 2013
Poured from a 22 ounce bottle. Pours a translucent copper with a sticky white head of foam. Aroma is predominantly pine and citrus with some resinous dryness coming through. Taste is bitter up front with a slightly fruity sweetness eeking in and quickly moving out to make way for a dry, bitter finish.

fidelis83 (1598) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - FEB 13, 2013
Pours a clear, medium amber with a 1 finger, soapy, off white head htat has good retention and leaves some lacing. Aroma of minty herbal, planty, citrus, and spicy hops. Caramel, biscuity and little licorice up front in the flavor, then some nice, cleanly spicy hops, citrus peel and evergreen bush. Light to medium body, neutral to creamy body, light, but sharp carbonation and dry, lightly astringent finish. Pretty good, unusual hop profile.

It poured a hazy orange color with an off-white head. The aroma was sweet, malty, caramel and somewhat hoppy with pine and citrus. The taste was quite sweet and a little bitter. Good stuff.

Tap sample at the brewery. Clear deep copper color with reddish hues and a small head. Intense hoppy nose (piney and earthy), with guava and bitter orange peels. Nutty flavors, caramel malts, med-hi bitterness, rich hoppy flavor with mostly grapefruit notes. Medium bodied, long bitter finish - nice.
