COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

Pours a deep, clear copper. Would have gotten a 5 were it a little hazy. Aroma is good at the start: more citrus than pine, with some other sweeter fruits thrown in. After a little while, though some plastic smells intrude (like from blowing up a new air mattress, which is less appealing). In the mouth, it’s quite balanced, though slightly thin. Overall decent, but not one of my favs.

It poured a hazy orange color with an off-white head. The aroma was sweet, malty, caramel and somewhat hoppy with pine and citrus. The taste was quite sweet and a little bitter.

Bärnstensfärgad vacker öl. Mycket malt och humle, kraftig IPA som jag kommer dricka fler gånger. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice amber color with a large white head. Lots of fruity aromas here, grapefruit, pine and citrus. The taste is as it should be, the fresh hop notes is very good. Caramel, some spicy hop flavor and some biscuit in the background.

Kraftfull och fyllig ipa i mitten av den amerikanska craft beer traditionen. Helt ok, men kanske inget som utmärker.

SamTheBarrel (321) - Vallentuna, SWEDEN - JAN 18, 2014
650ml brown bottle 2013 years vintage, labelled 6.9% ABV, poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Appearance is amber with floaties, a medium sized beige head with good retention. Aroma of grapefruit, orange peels, pine, caramel and bread. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, a slightly sticky texture, average carbonation. A good IPA overall, despite a relatively old bottle consumed just 1 week before the best before date.

hackobock (909) - SWEDEN - JAN 11, 2014
Bottle from Systembolaget, best . Clear light amber with a slightly off-white head. Aroma has resin, pine, caramel, citrus. Taste is sweet resin and caramel, pine and citrus hops, dry bitterness in the finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Luckily the caramel background is solid and makes the beer enjoyable cause the fresh hoppy notes are merely there, a bit old.

22 oz bottle shared. Light amber and pretty clear with a lasting, off-white head and lacing. Aroma of resinous hops, citrus fruit, pine, grass, floral, herbs, bready malts and caramel/toffee. Similar flavor, heavy hop bitterness balanced by medium malt sweetness and a touch of alcohol. Medium body with a creamy feel and a lingering, bitter fininsh.
