Eyedrinkale (3209), Beer Town, New York, USA Dec 29, 2008 On cask at Sidecar. Cloudy brown with a foamy head. Aroma is light bittersweet chocolate with a nice earthty maltiness. Flavor had a hidden grassy hoppinesa which balanced nicely. Finish was a bit short but tasty none the less. checkmatei1 (483), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 3, 2007 Draft: It was a dark brown with a caramel colored head. It smelled of caramel and roasted chocolate. It had a very watery feel in my mouth and actually tasted a little watered down. I didn’t realize until reviewing this beer that it was a Altbier.
