Clear dark amber, slight head. Aroma was sweet, quite fruity, mianly way overripe apricots, with a dark caramel finish. Somehow the fruit in the nose just jumped out a little too sharply. I’m surprised I’m criticizing a "strong" aroma, but it wasn’t working for me. Flavor was similar - more apricot with dark fruits, some Belgian yeast, and an almost cloying sweetness. Some anise also intruded at the end. This one just didn’t do it for me.

Nice spicey citrus yeast notes in aroma. Clear amber brown with large fluffy off-white head. Spicey belgian yeast flavors with moderate peppery hop bitterness. Pale sweet malt background. Light body with a dry finish clean spicey and modertely high carbonation. Very tasty beer.
