Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 13, 2005 Initially big white head diminishes slowly, but always remains on the light golden pour. Estery, fruity and gently hopped Belgian ale that balances its breadiness with a good dose of floral and leafy hops. Interestingly phenolic too. Light-medium bodied, big bubbled carbonation feels authentic, moderately bitter, remotely tart. Good! CaptainCougar (4664), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jun 20, 2008 Pours a transparent bright golden with a thin lacing wispy white head. Aroma of sweet biscuity pale Belgian malts with light fruity notes and doughy yeastiness. Body starts with a mild sweetness and coriander spice with a decent balance of bready yeast before a drier finish. A pretty decent tripel. hopdog (4649), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 19, 2004 Updated: Sep 21, 2004On tap. Poured a medium, hazy amber color with a smaller head. Spicy and fruity tasting and smelling. Banana. Overall a very good beer that I enjoyed and will get again. tiggmtl (4179), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Dec 18, 2005 Fruity esters up front with doughy yeast, light spices and some hints of alcohol. Hazy golden body is topped by a pillowy white head that recedes to ring. Plenty of herbal and citrus hops counterpoint the doughy fruit esters with a moderate bitterness. Medium body with lively effervescence that engages the tongue. Sampled on the PA trip 2005.
