This poured a ruby red color with a pinkish head. Aroma was of sweet raspberry candy. Flavor was much the same, very sweet, and hides the alcohol incredably well. Not an everyday beer, but something really good for the right occasion.

Draft at Capones. Pours amber red with a small white head. Aroma of raspberries and caramel. Flavor is rather simple, toffee malt with some raspberry flavor (powdery). Medium bodied with a slight bubbly texture. Average amount of sweetness with alcohol very well hidden. Not very complex, but simple- in a good way of course.

Draft at Capone’s. Cloudy amber/red color with small head. Fruity raspberry aroma. The taste was of raspberries with light sour notes in the finish. Sweet at first then light bitterness. Pretty good for what it is.

[Draft @ Capone’s] Poured a clear deep red amber color with a small white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of raspberries, toffee, and light toast. Taste was sweet, raspberries, with grains, yeast, maybe some tart pomegranate, and a mildly alcoholic finish.

Draft at the Blue Dog in Lansdale. Raspberry hue and modest white head. Cherry-raspberry nose and flavor with drying, woody notes. Semi-dry, moderately tart, and thin on the palate. Quenching and serviceable as a palate cleanser.

Dradt at the Grey Lodge in Philly. Ok beer. A that to fruity for my taste. Godd summer beer. Alochol was hidden rather well. If I remember the card it was up there.

Draft at Which Brew. Deep golden red body with thin head. Aroma is faint - light berry. Flavor has a sort of cough syrup like taste - which isn’t bad - sweet and subtle with a tart finish. Light berry notes.

Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 18, 2007
Tap at Gen Lafayette strong ale fest 2007. Pours a bright clear violet pink with a fluffy nean violet head. Aroma is artificial raspberry extract or canned raspberries, sugary sweet hints and some phenols. Sweet flavor with lots of raspberry candy character, light alcohol as it warms along with more phenols, and a sweet lingering finish. A bit too girly and artificial. meh.
