4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is the Legacy Triple H IPA.
I had this on tap at Zeno’s in State College PA.
Appearance: Served to me a hazy golden orange color. The head was gone when I got it so I can’t comment on it.
Smell: The aroma reminded me of the sweet bitter smell of Hedonism (if you are familiar with that beer).
Taste: I liked this but it really tasted like a similar recipe to Hedonism. The difference is, This one HHH is very pleasant and easy while Hedonism is a bit harsh (tasty though). It seems like they balanced it out and changed the name. The flavor is of candied malts and bitterness. I do really enjoy the bitterness that lingered in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Crisp and hoppy and bitter, all the while tingly in the mouth.
Drinkability: I really enjoyed this beer and will likely pick up a case. Very drinkable.
Hope this is helpful.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap - Bridgewater’s – 30 St Train Station – Philly - Deep Amber, thick creamy light tan head. Intense pine nose with hints of earth and a touch of citrus. Rich bitterness up front, fresh hop flavor throughout, and just the faintest hint of sweetness to round it out. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Rockin brew. Not sure why the scores are so low, but to each is own right?

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2006 6/10/06 Draft at brewpub. Pour was a cloudy amber/gold color with a fluffy white head. Aroma was very sweet lemonade. Flavors were somewhat disappointing after the aroma and the name. Kind of started off with a mild but sweet citrus flavor followed with a stronger, more earthy hop finish. eh. 3.2.
12/8/06 I had this yesterday at an Irish Pub in Lancaster and it was a totally different beer. Totally out of balance with huge earthy/citrus hops and a very sticky, resiny finish. Just how I like my IPAs.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2005 This was a great and different IPA. Seemed to have more flavor then the standard IPA, great aftertaste, very smooth.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Main Line Brew Fest. Copper colored, with big resiny hop aroma. Tastes hoppy, with some maltiness and slight black pepper in the finish. Decent balance, but not my favorite IPA of the day.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
#2 in my sweep of Legacy drafts (after the Euphoria). Poured medium yellow with a white lacing head. Plenty of hops to go around in the aroma and flavor which was matched with a blend of floral, grasses and maybe some apricot. Light spice in the finish to compliment the dry hops.

3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
decent IPA - but beware: its overly bitter and hoppy, and because of this it is out of balance and even astringent. So I say it’s "decent" because I would drink it again depending on what else is on tap at the pub, but I won’t go out of my way for it. Typical copper-colored body with a white head. Hoppy nose. Only very slightly malty - really the hops dominate all of the beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap @ HDG. Pours a clear orange gold with a small head. Aroma is floral and grassy with a caramel sweetness. Flavor is hoppy but not as much as the name would imply. Some fresh apricot flavor as well as orange and piney resin. Not bad but only worth a pint.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Ortinos Northside. Pours a translucent lighter golden amber with an average off white lacing head. Aroma of caramel, grapefruit and some toffee. Flavor was more bitter and dry that I had expected. Also more of the grapefruit and caramel that I was picking up in the aroma. Overall a decent and a bit different IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Heavy hopped and heavy as hell. A nice brew that is a great example of a IPA. One of the better brews there.
