COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A wickedly tasty red ale packed with a massive hop flavor and full aroma from dry-hopping with whole flowers. Specially brewed with all European malts and West Coast whole flower hops. The result - a rich ruby red color, lacy collar and a feast of hop aroma!

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2006 On tap at the Kennett Square Brew Fest (’05). Poured a deep amber color with a small sized white head. Aromas and tastes of citrus and pine. I really didn’t write too much more on this one...AR 5 AP 4 FL 5 PA 3 OI 10 On Cask. Not sure why I originally rated this one so low, but the cask version was great.

huge pine aroma, and that was all there was, right along side the fact that there was nothing else in the flavor as well. this was way to hoppy, and very bitter and acetic at the end. by the way, it wasnt even red, it was a muddy brown color.not something i ever want to try again.

very bracing hops, but seemed a little too much to balance with the malt profile. use of european malts wasn’t evident, but seemed of quality nonetheless

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2005 From what I hear Legacy is re-vamping its line and aqdding this West Coast style APA. Hedonism has a slight citrus aroma, acceptable bitterness, but is truely nothing revolutionary. I agree with shadey this beer does not deserve the "Hedonism" monicker. I think re-naming it "Happy Medium Red" is a better fit.

Clear amber color. Hops but not very sharp. Smooth and clean. I don’t really think it is deserving of the name Hedonism. Seems pretty standard to me.

pours amber in color with a fat tan head, spicy aroma with a mix of fruit, the taste is peachlike with some bitterness and a little dry, decent body, i enjoyed this beer.

#3 of 3 in my sweep of legacy taps at Canal Street in Reading, PA. Poured a rich copper red with a thin, lacing, tan creamy head. Aroma and flavor matched with a blend of citrus, pine, hops. Great smooth palate and a crisp finish.

Very nice APA, deep copper color with a great off-white head, excellent lacing around the glass, lots of hops in the nose with notes of earth, pine & citrus, very hoppy & sticky mouthfeel as well, dry & bitter flavors with more notes of pine & citrus, dry & hoppy finish, nice malt profile for balance, very easy drinking & smooth, great session beer, all-around nice pale ale
