COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A wickedly tasty red ale packed with a massive hop flavor and full aroma from dry-hopping with whole flowers. Specially brewed with all European malts and West Coast whole flower hops. The result - a rich ruby red color, lacy collar and a feast of hop aroma!

Appearance: Pours a hazy, amber body with a small, whitish head. Smell: Pale malts with a toasty caramel scent and hop notes of spiced citrus and pine. Taste: Blend of pale, bready, and caramel maltiness with a light amount of sweetness. Pine, citrus, and spicy hop components with a moderate bitterness. Bitter, crisp finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Adequate, though not exactly the hedonistic delight I was hoping for.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy red with a two-finger head, decent head retention and lacing. Big caramel malts and earthy hops in the aroma. Bitter citrus and earthy hop taste finished with caramel malts notes. Medium bodied.

Bottle courtesy of hopflop poured into a tulip. Pours a clear reddish amber with a one-finger fluffy off-white head that recedes gradually to a nice ring. The lacing is very good. Floral hops and caramel malts play off each other in the aroma with neither being too dominant. Some toffee notes and a slight sweetness as well. The taste has a bit more hop bitterness than the aroma would indicate with mostly earthy hops. There are some caramel malts and an interesting toasted character through the finish, kinda woody in fact. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with strong carbonation and slightly tingly with the hop bitterness. This is an interesting and very drinkable amber with a prominant hop profile but still very smooth. Well made brew.

12oz bottle, 110 IBUs. Light copper, tan head, nice lacing. Aroma of SweeTarts candy, citrus hops. Nice floral nose. Flavor of musty malts. Some oxydation. A nice IPA.

From a light brown 12oz bottle - Pours an ugly cloudy orange/red color with small quickly dissipating almost head. Below average carbonation. Smells sweet but definite oxidation going on here. First sip is very mild with not enough flavor to go around. Fairly balanced between the hops and malts. Medium light bodied, makes for a pleasant brew.

Poured deep clear amber color, nearly brown, with a small off-white head. Aroma is well balanced between malts and hops with a definite aroma and flavors of caramel malts and floral hops. Medium-bodied and very drinkable.

Deep red, almost brown, appearance with a large, tan head and good lacing. Aroma needed some coaxing before the caramel malts and subdued hops came around. Taste is caramel malt, soft fruit and flowery hops. Medium bodied with a fairly dry, medium length finish. Reminiscent of a potent amber ale.

Brewfest NY 08. Man i wish i was able to write down notes at the fest, but it was pouring rain and I had an umbrella in one hand, and my drinking glass in the other. I remember this being good though. Obviously need to try it again.

Sampled at the NY Brewfest on 9/12. Not able to give a very accurate rating due to the sheer number of brews sampled. One of the better brews of the night. They have caught my attention as a brewery between this and midnight wit.

This beer had a nice floral aroma that lent well to the floral taste of the hops. Not too overpowering and with very little aftertaste, this red packs alot of flavor into you sip and does not disappoint. It was billed to me as an IPA so i was expecting a harsher hop finish but I was pleasantly surprised.
