3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Immy (1948) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - MAY 5, 2008
12 oz bottle. Hazy lemony yellow with a fizzy white head. Lightly sweet nose, lemongrass and wheat. Flavor is like a Blue Moon crossed with a Wittekerke - not bad, but heavier than expected, body-wise. Eh. OK, I guess.
0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 obguthr (2583) - Poquoson, Virginia, USA - APR 26, 2008
Weak baby food and DMS smell. Hazy yellow pour with a thin white head. Tastes of peas and beans covering coriander. Clearly compromised and resembling nothing but tainted beer.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 RCL (2025) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - APR 25, 2008
Decent witbier. A bit more grainy and less yeasty than most witbiers I have had. Nice level of spice, not overpowering but noticeable. Light citrus acidity. Not a fantastic beer, but quite pleasant drinking when it’s hot outside.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Braudog (4607) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - APR 24, 2008
Bottle: Poured very light in color, bright golden, even. Not until the bottom of the bottle is out do you get a bit of yeasty swirl. The head is initially fizzy, but generally thin and uninspiring. The aroma is yeasty and fruity, swirly even. This settles into a musty swilly looking thing. This drinks like an American wheat, gristy, yet fruity. Definitely sedimented. If you like your beers with residual yeasty stuff, go for it. (#3434 (cool number), 4/24/2008)
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Sammy (6130) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 31, 2008
A worthwhile take on the Belgian wheat style, with some sourish wheat and a blend of spices, corriander being the noteable one. Aroma is farmhouse and cidery. on the thin side. Deep yellow colour with a small but observable white head.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Slipstream (1555) - USA - MAR 26, 2008
Straw-colored brew with a light head. I couldn’t figure out the drawing on the label - it looks like a cat toy or something from a science fiction story. There is a fine aroma of sweet malt, plus a little spice and citrus. The wheat flavor takes charge, with strong citrus moving in mid-swallow. Cloves are noticable as well. Some raters found it very sweet, but I disagree. This is an enjoyable light brew.

Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a white head. Notes of lemon and wheat in the aroma. The flavor is much the same with a little bit of spice. A pretty standard wit.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jsquire (2484) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - FEB 15, 2008
Pale yellow color with a quickly diminishing white head. Nose of old orange juice and spices. Lots of orange juice, lemon zest, sweet tart candies, corriander spice, and almost lime. It borders on too sweet, but there is enough tangyness in here to keep it from going too far.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 sheatripper (863) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - JAN 18, 2008
Bottle. Hazy golden color with a frothy white head. Tart wheaty aroma with citrus, dusty yeast and coriander. Nice balance of sweet and tart. Wheat and lightly sweet malts with orange and grapefruit zestiness in the back, along with some coriander. Smooth bodied with fine carbonation. Surprisingly decent domestic Wit from the supermarket fridge. Surely would be better tasting in the summer.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ron (1697) - Rochester, New York, USA - JAN 13, 2008
