COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Great for cold nights! This is our "winter warmer" and you can feel the warmth going down. The Nor’Easter has lots of malt flavor with a balanced hop aroma and bitterness. Available Oct. - Jan.

Poured into pint glass. A: Used motor oil color. Two inches of frothy light brown head with excellent retention and quite a bit of lacing. Nice cascade going for a while. S: Oatmeal is the biggest component of the aroma. Not any hops content. A bit fusely and a bit of alcohol. T: Tastes like slightly sour nothing. I don’t know what the hell made this dark because their is no crystal malt or roasted barley component in the taste. This sucks. M: Light body, really light body like water. Carbonation is fine, but that’s about it. D: This is slightly sour water. It fucking sucks. How the hell does ANYBODY like this? Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 06-05-2009 01:11:31

bottle pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, oats, and coffee. Flavor is bitter cocoa and thin coffee notes with a mild noble hop finish. Nice session stout.

(bottle - 22 oz) Dark black pour with a thick and fluffy tan head. Very rich and roasty aroma with a nice amount of oatmeal and sweet cream notes as well. Big roasty flavor at the beginning with a bitter coffee middle. The oatmeal comes through mildly near the middle and gives a very subtle sweetness. Very thick and creamy with a bitter and lasting roasted aftertaste.

22 oz bottle at Stout NYC. Pours a jet black color with no light passing through and little head. Aroma is crisp and sweet like oatmeal, not very complex. Taste is more bitter than sweet but pretty well balanced. Unlike other sweet stouts, this is not too sweet to drink in large quantities. Palate is full with a nice crisp aftertaste.

Very dry stout. Not much oatmeal or barley. Typical black pour with tan head. Some chocolate in the nose.

Nice beer but no way in hell is this a strong ale. Very tame stout with just mild sweetness. Pitch black, with a full tan head. Decent lacing that fades away pretty quickly. Nice nutty aroma, with some cocoa, apple peels and potato. Taste is light, chocolatey, toasty and super easy to sip on. Mouthfeel is really fun. Has an interesting slippery character to it if that makes sense. Like when I take a drink it’s quick down the hatch and hardly any taste lingering around the mouth. Hard to believe it’s 7.0%. Nice, easy drinking mellow oatmeal sotut.

Bomber from local for beer meeting. Black pour with frothy chocolate tan head. Smells of oats, barnyard, feet, and vegetables. The flavor is roasty with some Chanel #5 aspects. Thin body.

In the past few days I think I’ve lifted 16 tons of snow.....I hope this beer helps my back. Swiss cheese lacing. Thick tan head. Light nose of chocolate and a bit vegetal. Body is light, caramellish and thin for an oatmeal stout. Deep brown pour with a touch of light on the edges. Burgle.

22 oz bottle served in a tulip. Pour was dark brown/light black with three fingers of pillowy tan head. Nose is roasted malt, light dark fruit, caramel, and light coffee. Taste is roasted malts and coffee with a watery bitter finish. This is a middle of the road winter brew that is neither great nor terrible, that is worth a taste without much to complain about.
