On draft @capones. Pours hazy light amber with a good size off-white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, and caramel. The flavor is slight fruit, citrus, caramel, and a piney bitter finish. Thin bodied, ok.

On draft at Capones. Hazy pour with some hoppy aroma. Was a bit watery for my liking and a tad bit weak but it was smooth with a mild bitter to it It was just okay for me.

[Hand pump @ Capone’s] Poured a lightly hazy amber color with a creamy, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, citrus fruits, and floral hops. Taste of citrus, light caramel, toffee, toasted malts, citrus, and a lightly bitter finish.

On the hand pump at Capones. Pours a translucent golden amber with a smaller bubbly off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of fresh hops, caramel malt, some nuts and floral notes. Flavor of caramel, hops, medium hop bitterness on the hoppy bitter end of a pale ale.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 3fourths (6409) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 20, 2007
Cask at Zeno’s Real Ale Fest. Clear and filtered, with a honey colored amber body under a white, thin head. Fruity, rich, oily hops up front, then some sour and astringent flavors over the middle, complete with buttery diacetyl and some soggy grains lingering into the unpleasent finish. Has an awful, terrible aftertaste of band-aids and diacetyl. This was another cask ale at the fest that just didn’t belong.

Not a bad pale ale from a brewery that really isn’t too far away. Nice and crisp with a good flavor and finish

Light amber in color, decent sized white head, nice retention & lacing, a bit of hops & fruit in the nose, not as hoppy as expected, could have used a bit more hops in the body & flavors, seemed a little thin & at times bland, very smooth & drinkable though, makes for a nice session beer

Had this at the May 8th Ortlieb’s fest. Pours dark straw, with a huge hop, resiny aroma. Tastes and finishes fruity, hoppy, and resiny, with a final blast of black peppery sensation on the tongue. Very nice.
