The first spanish abbey beer.

Clear copper with thin head. Rather simple in both nose and taste; mainly malt and caramel. A typical "macro-abbey". For a spanish beer, this is ok. Too simple to be a real belgian ale, but if I ever go to Spain on vacation, I guess this will be my choice when buying beer.

Bottled. 5cl sample. The aroma has caramel and toffee malts, some grass. Clear, amber coloured beer with an off white head. The taste is light sweet and has caramel malts, some grass and hay. Boring.

Orange bis kupferfarben, klar. Beständiger weißer Schaum. Malzig, leichte Röstaromen, aber auch blechern. Wenig Hopfen.

It is NOT a belgian ale, it’s actually a lager. Pours golden, tawny head. Aroma is iron, dandelion, vynil, bread dough. Thin texture. Quite short bitter finish.

Golden color that starts with a nice white head. Aroma is malty and alcohol, slightly sweet and yeasty. Flavor is like aroma but more alcohol notes. Low to medium carbonation and soft body and strong sweet alcohol finish.

cobrizo limpio y espuma marfil.

33 cl bottle at supermarket. Aroma has notes of caramel and floral, dark gold color with ivory foam. Medium body with abrupt finish.

Tomada en cerveceria Kraken. Oviedo. Bastante sabor, trago facil. Repetiría a falta de mejor opción.

Tasted 9/4/15. BB 16/01/16. Poured a crystal clear coppery red with a few off-white bubbles for a head. Laced very poorly. Carbonation low and fine. Aroma of sweet fruit, caramel, and a hint of yeast; quite OK. Taste of sweet caramel followed by a tarty bitterness. Light body. Smooth and soft with a short tarty bitterness. Not that nice. A poor attempt at a Flanders Red.
