COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on this style offers a light body, crispness of flavor, and a never ending drinkability perfect for summer afternoons on the deck. A percentage of wheat and corn in the mash keep the malt sweetness mild and offer a subtle, quenching tartness. Hop aroma and flavor are very low. At 4% abv., think of this as the craft beer drinker’s lawnmower beer...friendly, yet flavorful.

Great appearance, perfect golden color and a barrage of bubbles keep the head well. Aroma is a little sour and so is the taste, kind of sweet and pungeant. Sour, grassy aftertaste. Blanket white lacing. Body has a little bite that stays strong into the finish.

(Sample Date: 7/31/2009 Source:Legend Brewery) Pint at the brewery. Lightly grainy with a hint of corn sweetness and spicy hop aroma. Clear light straw with bright white head. Lightly grainy flavor with a hint of earthy spicy hop notes. Clean little corn flavor. Crisp light clean finish. Good beer for the deck on a hot day.

Clear straw yellow, decent head, lots of bubbles. Aroma slightly grainy, light, perhaps a touch of corn. Flavor matches. Some hay accented hops on the finish. Beer for the lawnmower to be sure.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a crystal clear pale straw color with a medium creamy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Faint grassy hop aroma with a faint graininess. Taste is grassy hops and grain with a toasted malt finish. Light fruity notes as well. Thin-medium bodied with strong carbonation.
