3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beershine (4766) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - OCT 23, 2009
Draft @wpub. Very dark brown with red tint in light. Gentle aroma is malty with huskiness in the end and some plummy fruit in the middle. Quaffable palate. Medium carbonation is soft but lively. A little husky but has solid genuine malty goodness. A dry but slightly burnt finish. Nice dry dunkel.

Draught at the Legends Beer restaurant. Was looking forward to trying this one, but quite disappointed. Tasted like a watery porter. Some chocolate notes, overpowered by louder notes of ash. Nice foamy head. A strange beer to drink in Vietnam.

Draught at the brewpub. Thick off-white head, dark brow body. Sweet malt and caramel aroma, a bit mild but pleasant. Slightly roasted. Flavor is roasted malty with some bitter coffee notes and hint of herb and chocolate. All right, for Vietnamese standards very nice!
