COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The is a pretty beer almost an amber/brown color. A well balanced beer that is great for the summer months. Unlike the porter, this is the beer that put them on the map.

Copper brown pour with some haze and one finger of sandstone head. Lots of diacetyl in the nose with some leafy herbal hop character and toasted grain. Super buttery/caramelly flavor. No me gusta. Bleh

Well balanced brown...reasonably refreshing, has a little hops, slight roasted malt and a clean finish. Decent stuff.

Some thought went into the malt. Toffee, chocolate, some dark fruitcake notes abound. Otherwise, I found it a bit lacking and a tad watery.

Had on tap @ 3 monkeys in Richmond VA. Poured a golden amber color. Nothing really notable with this one.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours dark amber, medium/thin body, medium carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is roasted malt, some caramel malt, and nuttiness.

The aroma has burnt malt, caramel, chocolate, and coffee. The appearance is light brown with a small head. The taste is like the aroma with a bitter grainy finish. The palate is thin. Overall not very good and not to style.

Dark Brown with white head and medium bodied. Taste is malty with caramel, toffee and is nutty. not alot of hop characteristics. Pretty standard brown ale.
