COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The is a pretty beer almost an amber/brown color. A well balanced beer that is great for the summer months. Unlike the porter, this is the beer that put them on the map.

On tap. Pours a nut brown color with a medium sized soapy off white head. Notes of stale milk chocolate, hazlenuts, cardboard, and toast. Thinner body and grainy finish. Meh.

Pours brown with a small off white head. Aroma is lightly sweet and toasty. Flavor is much the same with a little burnt caramel showing.

On a warm summer’s night this was a great option to help pass the time. Well balanced and affordable Legend deserves credit for sticking to a price point that many brewers have jumped right past. If I could get their stuff locally I suspect that I would have tried many more of their offerings than I have to date

Aroma / Appearance - Foamy head the color of choppy wave caps accented a dark fluid base. Pretty deep for the style it smells like someone drizzled chocolate glazing over air popped kernels then ate them while roasting chestnuts and almonds. Mellow easy going hops cap off a well rounded blend.

Flavor / Palate - Hoppy with a strong oaken character, this tastes like someone adds wood shavings to a base of chestnuts and threw it in a blender. The mouthfeel is much more thick than I expected though not cloying. Overall this is an easy going beer that appeals to those in a sessionable mood. If I’d had another bottle I might have been able to finish that as well.

Bomber from Nimbleprop. Nose is lightly tosty and caramel malt. Claer light brown with a big, long lasting beige head that lightly laces.. Flavor is a light bitterness and lots of caramel and a lightly roasty coffee note. Pretty good brown ale.

Very good brown ale, good caramel after taste. Very easy drinking, not to filling.

22oz bottle. Golden brown with a loose cream head that fades quickly; rich malty aroma, with some earthy caramel; strongly malty flavour with burnt toffee; and a clean lightly hopped finish. A rather good brown ale.

A nice light brown color. The beers smell is very standard. It is a good tasting beer that is well brewed.

Mild brown color, little lacing and almost no foam. Clean, mild, malt aroma. Full bodied taste with an incredible balance of the malt and hops. Very drinkable for a heavier style beer. Just a tiny kiss of hops on the finish
