Draft at Legend brewery: Slight caramel aroma. Clear amber color with a medium off white head. Tastes of dandelion, orange, honey, and caramel.. Grass and hop finish. Great tasting beer, but alcohol is bit too noticeable.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Cobra (1076) - In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA - JUN 23, 2007
22 oz. brown bomber bottle. No freshness date seen. Bought cold. Poured out a clear orangish color, with a sticky white head. Aromas are of grapefruit, some apricots also, followed by sweet malts. Flavors are of malts, hops, slight alcohol burn.
Decent body, thick & rich. Good beer overall.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 ChainGangGuy (3683) - Canton, Georgia, USA - JUN 16, 2007
Appearance: Pours a golden body with a foamy, creamy white head.
Smell: Oh dear, here we go again... an aroma of butter and soiled socks.
Taste: The flavor passes back and forth between greasy butter and abandoned cheese. Sure, there’s hops. Yes, there’s light caramel malts. It just not worth putting up with all that unpleasantness to get to it.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Slight stickiness to the mouthfeel.
Drinkability: Another utter failure from this brewery. I have yet to come across a bottle from Legend that wasn’t a totally spoiled disaster!
2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 unclemattie (3243) - Georgia, USA - JUN 14, 2007
22oz bottle. Aroma of sour cheese. BLAH! this tastes spoiled. Box, straw. Legend...pass the bucket. Check for ass still in the glass. I just hope that it was a bad bottle...

on tap-pours a lot of creamy white head with lacing and gold color. Aroma is crisp, grain, light hops. Taste is crisp, grain, secondary flat hops bite. Mild/OK carbonation.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 CaptainCougar (6749) - Boz Scaggsville, Maryland, USA - MAR 11, 2007
Sampled on 7/15/06 at the RBSG ’06 Grand Tasting: Pours a clear golden with a thin, nicely-lacing coating of white head. Slightly floral piny hoppy and toasty caramel malty aroma. Body starts with some mild toasty malty sweetness drying out some with a more bitter and crisp hop presence toward a warming finish. A great beer if you’re expecting a golden, but an average beer if you’re expecting an IPA.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 golubj (1373) - San Mateo, California, USA - FEB 6, 2007
Bottle. This had a mild hop character, but wheat grass undertones. It had the same aftertaste as some healthy smoothies from "Juice it Up."
