On tap at the VBF. Pours a light amber with white head. Sour malt in the nose and flavor. Eh.

Pours with a creamy medium white head on a golden body. Mild malty aroma with some hops filtering through. Strong allspice flavor initially. The hops kick in later. Good dry body with a decent amount of alcohol warming.

Toasted gold with big, foamy white head / Light, sour nose / Medium, clean bodied with decent, hoppy finish / Simple flavors of toasted grain and pine, with no trace of fruit / Lacking in any sort of complexity, still pleasant and easy drinking. A hoppy pilsner.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 dbarnold (677) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - SEP 11, 2011
this was only OK, very bitter but no other hops characteristics...just bitter and then done. Nothing else really to the hops. Decently refreshing but nothing special.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 tia (467) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - JUL 23, 2011
Decent beer, but I don’t think of this as an IPA. Definitely has some hop character plus lots of malt. It is Golden!
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 freekyp (1296) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - DEC 31, 2011
Pours a pure golden with swaths of white sticky lacing. Aroma is fruit forward displaying grapefruit, orange, and some light berry. A nice biscuity backbone holds this brew together. It ends with a mild earthy hop finish, and a light malt sweetness that lingers on the tongue.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 wickster (65) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 18, 2012
This bottle has a unicorn on it...yeah, that should have been a warning right there. It kind of tastes like what I imagine unicorn pee filtered through hay might taste like. All in all not the worst beer I have had...but certainly not one I’ll be keeping in my stable
2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jmuhops (666) - Winchester, Virginia, USA - AUG 23, 2005
Pours transparent orange with a two-finger creamy head. Nice effervescence. At least Legend seems to be aesthetically-abled. A big aroma of soapy and citrusy hops backed by bready malts. Flavor starts out excellent—just the right malt backbone—but finishes with a horrible taste that left me feeling as though I had just eaten a handful of grass. The nastiness sticks with you for a while.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 maniac (3474) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 4, 2006
Pale yellow color with a white head. Malty and grassy aroma. Lightly bitter flavor that finishes somewhat grassy
